BW can craft a story there's no doubt for that. For all I know TIM could make a deal with Reapers that they are going to spare some small amount of people in exchange for Shepards corpse. TIM is a defender of people and after Reaper invasion people would have a fresh start as the most developed race in galaxy.

You may be right, and I hope so.  Still reeling from the supreme stupidity of the way the council was portrayed in ME2.  They'd better have been lying to Shepard when they said they didn't believe, because that was massively immersion busting.

Don't get me wrong, obviously I'm hugely looking forward to ME3 and have faith it'll be a good game.  I'm here on the forums 8 months before release, after all!

And your idea is interesting.  There could be a point where Shep is given a choice of saving humanity at the cost of letting every other race be wiped out or some such, the ultimate Renage/Paragon choice.  That would be a good plot.

Edit: thanks for the suggestions on the book.  Maybe I'll pick it up when my ME3 fever peaks.

Excuse me,I don't understand how the Council was unrealistic.

All the evidence they have about the Reapers existing is from Shepard, who was sharing his...irregular theories about the Reapers during ME1 all the time.

Then, 2 years pass and no new sign of the Reapers! Why should they believe that the creatures from an old myth are true?

Evolution is actually a comic not a book. Last chapter goes out in 2 weeks I think.

Well, i started my Shepard last year. Took me a while, because ME just seemed bad at first. And well, a friend which was staying at my place for a few days - played it. Eventually i followed, and the games are amazing. The Shepard i've been playing on, made the decisions i've done - i will not change that: ) So, in ME3 i will play with the shepard from the previous two games. If i am ever gonna do a replay, that will be after i am entirely done with the game on my shepard. I don't see any point in doing otherwise. I hope you all have that "one" shepard that you started with on ME1, and will end with on ME3.

I doubt that. That's not really a big choice and if they would go to all choices like that the comic would be over an hour long.

It wasn't mentioned because it was just a storyboard that the writer saw...no proof it is in the game...just a concept of what "could" be in the game.

The possible dialog involved could be potentially interesting if you had her as a LI in ME2

This is why each character of mine has at least 4 playthroughs.  1 for each ME2 LI and one that stays "loyal" to my ME1 LI lol.

Ive narrowed all my character data down to 3 characters essentially lol.  My Sentinel, My Vanguard, and my Soldier, each, as I stated with 4 playthroughs lol.

I have also many many playthroughts but I admit, in the area of romances, I almost never changed XD

Most of those news sound like steps in the right direction. They also sound as if BioWare and EA had learned from the many mistakes made with ME 2. However, it also might all be a just PR. DA 2 for example does not seem to indicate that BioWare and EA have changed their approach so far. I will still not pre-order ME 3, but of course if all of those promises will be kept, and if ME 3 is a worthy continuation and conclusion of the trilogy and especially of ME 1, then of course I will buy the game for the full price instead of waiting for the budget version.
