OK this is how Man-Giraffe-Dog came to be:

While growing up it was spotted in the wild (but the team was all killed by it and the photos were recovered afterwards)

After which it began its infiltration of humanity, disguised as Giraffe-Dog:

Which leaves us here. Man-Giraffe-Dog is poised to attack and destroy humanity and I'm trying to warn everyone before it's too late. This is totally serial guys. You need to prepare.
Excelsior!

Is the $60 price point for the PC version confirmed? If so, ugh, way to keep the EA mantra going, BW.
Besides that, (and mind you Im not a PC gamer myself so dont usually buy alot of PC games) why is someone complaining about the $60 pricetag? Do (some) PC gamers think themselves so special that they shouldnt pay that much like everyone else? Not meaning to sound abrassive about it but seriously, just because you play on PC doesnt mean you should get special treatment and not pay the same amount as everyone else.

What about digital distribution? There aren't any physical materials involved and is generally (in AAA titles, anyways, and I know there are exceptions) limited to PC games, so the price could easily be dropped ten bucks, but that doesn't happen. Also, I've heard multiple developer sources point out that (aside from compatibility) consoles require more devwork, which was the initial reason why PS3/360 games started out +10 USD more than PC versions. Nowadays they're just trying to normalize it, perhaps at the behest of petty, petty kids crying about console vs PC prices without any real background knowlege.

From what I’ve gathered – the ongoing debate seems to be who from ME 1/2 will be included as squad mates.
Any thoughts/ideas on Miranda being included? I’m the minority (at least in my group of friends) in that I really hate Tali’s character.

I was merely curious. From the sounds of it, there's actual "technical" reasoning behind it so it's no big deal I suppose. I was just wondering if there was some reason behind it and/or if it was just some folks complaining about having to pay $60

Sucks to be a new poster on this day but it's not usually like this. Anyway Miranda is sure to come back (not officaly confirmed yet) but Bioware is pretty much hinting that most, if not all characters, will be back in some way especially very popular such as Miranda and Tali. The only question is how important role will she play, such as important story character, regular squaddie or temp squaddie. I really don't see her as a cameo as Cerberus is playing a huge role in ME3.

Haha - I'm new to this board but not message boards in general so its all good.
Thanks for the response - I was pretty sure I was going to get flamed for a) asking a question I'm sure has been asked 5,000 times and
I was keeping my fingers crossed for a Miranda as a squad mate/LI because I enjoyed her character and she is what kept my wife entertained while watching me play

I just hope that he doesn't end up as interesting as most human squadmates.
You
don't subscribe to BW's point that it's hard for regular human
squadmates to compete with interesting Alien squadmates is true?
Then again, I suppose Joker is more interesting than like... Jacob. Hrm.
About Sanders: Still hoping that's Conrad Verner's code name.

Not possible even if you were serious about it lol. If you tell conrad to get lost in ME2 he ends up being basically minced in a turbine or something like that while trying to help those kids or w/e he was doing. And I seriously doubt anyone is going to spend the money to project lazarus his ass lol

Also I think he doesn't exist in PS3 version.
probably because PS3 most likely uses a "default" start (just like ME2 Xbox/PC version if you don't import a ME1 save game) as the basis and just "imports" the decision from the interactive comic.

Conrad is a foil to Shep, right? Maybe there'll have some miraculous, extremely far-fetched, back-from-the-dead plot twist for him?Aradace wrote...

Also, Miranda is too hot and too powerful to not make a return for ME3. Just like Liara, who is already back.

Seeing as how in ME2 the state of her loyalty to Cerberus goes from absolute to suspicious, it would be a bit of a stretch finding her back at Cerberus. Maybe she'd stay on if you kept the CB, but if you blew it, I couldn't see her being welcomed back there, even if she left you by the start of ME3.Jentario wrote...
Since cerberus is confirmed as an enemy, I would love to see Miranda still working for Cerberus and at a certain mission when infiltrating the IM's HQ to see Miranda and have a big dramatic moment where she points a gun at you, then cries and says she can't work with Cerberus any more or whatever and then you should have a Paragon/Renegade moment of shooting her/asking her to join you. That would be sweet. Super sweet.
