I think that Miranda will definitely be in ME3.

The odds of Miranda not being in ME3 in some fashion are probably equivalent to the Reapers not showing up, either.

Not made by me.

Something interesting about the GI article is they said that the many side-stories explored about the many species of the universe, all the different conflicts that arouse, will be solved by Shep when he rallies the species to war against the Reapers in ME3.
thank god and extreme one. Tali is not the most hated in the universe of ME - more like the most loved one- but the point is that for all LI's to equal treatment, the devs have to think equal treatment from the ME trilogy as a whole or equal treatment for each ME? Because if it's the first one, then expect the VS to get the most....most.....erm.........treatment to make up for ME2.

Nobody get jealous, there is plenty of Tali for everyone.lol
You are right there is enough of Tali to go around. You can go for Tali Lennox or Tali Legget, but Tali'Zorah is mine! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]
you are right on one thing my fault. but If the LI from ME 2 get the shaft I am going to be pissed especially if Miranda is not in ME 3.
With DAT ASS, i bet you could see Miranda from ME3 to ME2.

*clears throat and revels in victory* I...told...you....sooooooo. Casey has clearly stated in the article that you will NOT be "punished" for having one two or even more of your ME2 people missing. To quote that part of the article, it is as follows:
....However, players shouldnt feel cheated if they lost a few allies during the course of the series; the goal is to reward gamers for playing how they want to, not to penalize them by withholding content."It'll be different, but not worse," Hudson says. "That's part of the fun of being able to do different playthroughs. It's not that something's there, and then it's missing. You get to see what's different, and what is there, and what changes."
That bolded part is for the folks who were wanting players to be punished for doing the bloodbath runs. Just thought I'd stick that out there that not only are we NOT being punished for it, but we are being rewarded for playing the way we want to play
Ok, /rant off lol

All negative backlash against the elevators in ME-1 was misplaced, when what people ought to have been complaining about was the poor load times.
Bioware listened and got rid of them completely and replaced them with immersion-breaking generic load screens which was totally a step backwards. The original solution was backwards.
So, in short: Bring back elevators or other similar interactive style load screens.

The elevators' concept was great, the execution? Bad.joltmajor wrote...
This comment will probably be buried and never seen in this 60+ page thread, but I really hope seamless loading can be implemented, such as the elevators that were present in ME1.

Elevators did have their turn, and while I agree that seamless loading is a good idea, I think that elevators are a poor choice. If possible, I'd rather there was a great variety of things that are used for hidden loading, such as shuttles, driving through the hangar, a conversation, etc.

I agree completely, I was referring to the concept in particular.
EDIT: Also, I recently began replaying ME1 on my new (pretty high spec. computer) and the elevator load times are pretty fast, so I think it was more of an issue for people with slower computers (as I had when I played ME1 for the first time), so the same implementation might not be as bad considering more people have faster computers than they did 4 years ago.

But ME2 did have an inventory, a decentralized one.Aradace wrote...
Also to add, unless it already in there somewhere, there will not be an inventory system in ME3 either. They're essentially taking the system of ME2 and putting some "tweaks" to it so to speak.
Weapon Selection---->Weapon Selection
Weapon Upgrades---->Lab Terminal
Armour Selection---->Wardrobe+Armour Selection
??? -----> Shepard upgrades
The only thing that it lacked were non-global weapon upgrades and more armour options for squadmates.

As in an inventory ala ME1. Which essentially means once again that you wont have any control over what your squadmates wear. (Aside from possibly alternate appearances of course) Just putting that out there for the folks who were concerned about whether or not you were going to be able to control what your teammates were wearing. Strait from Casey's mouth was that it is essentially the ME2 system, just with a few new bits and pieces added to it.

There are some nice hidden loading sequences there.
@Aradace
ME2 did have a limited selection of uniforms.
The problem lied in the fact that there were multiple species (human, asari, turian, salarian, drell, krogan, geth) so applying the ME1 system was impossible.

Im not really counting "alternate appearances" so to speak. Im talking about tangible armor pieces that you could equip ala ME1. Im not distressed over it personally, I liked how they did it in ME2. Just that there's going to be alot of pissed off people when they find out it's essentially going to be the same song and dance in that regard for ME3 lol

Well, I don't think that we can rule out greater squad armour customization yet.
Not entirely, but Im going to make an educated guess and say that there is probably about a 75% probability that it's going to be more closely to DA2 in terms of squad armor "accessories" than ME1's system lol.

Doubt it. ME3 combat engine is pretty much ME2 upgraded version but it's the same principle.
Warfare doesn't exist without grenades! Don't tell me so! I use them so much in any shooty scene/game!
