You'll hate me for saying this. But it was EA which fixed the development times.Someone With Mass wrote...
Then again, ME1 had longer development time, the engine was pretty new and a lot went wrong, like glitches and such.
I think they know what they're doing with ME3, judging from the new details we have.
Bioware made ME2 in a more efficient way. Few lost models and textures, and resources in general.
I mean, take a look at the very early videos of ME1. These are GBs of content that didn't make it to the final game.

I'm still fairly confident that I'll enjoy the game for what it is, instead of thinking of what it should be.

It means that you won't have as much chance to wait in cover for too long and generally roam the battlefield slowly.zumo34 wrote...
I hope legion is in me3! I always used him/it. And this sounds like it could be an incredible game! And what does it mean by game speed increased by 10-15%? Does it mean combat will be a lot faster?

1: The character didn't have heavy weapons in one of his "slots"
2: The salarian homeworld is a fairly early mission, and Shepard hasn't had the chance to pick up a heavy weapon yet
3: Heavy weapons aren't done/finalised yet
Anyway, the screens look fantastic, compared to ME1, even better than 2

Those videos made ME1 look 100x better than the final product. Really back in '06 those graphics almost rivaled today's.

Though for some reason "Mesina2" name is occupied.
Strange.
Fortunately "CroGamer002" is not.

I'd put my bet on that. Or maybe his class doesn't get access to the heavy weapons (although that would be a tad unfair lol).E-Type XR wrote...
I found it interesting in the first screen (with Shepard fighting the enemies) that Shepard didn't have a heavy weapon on his back. This could mean three things:
1: The character didn't have heavy weapons in one of his "slots"
2: The salarian homeworld is a fairly early mission, and Shepard hasn't had the chance to pick up a heavy weapon yet
3: Heavy weapons aren't done/finalised yet

It was actually developed and released as a Xbox 360 exclusive. It was later ported by Demiurge Studios to the PC.Phaedon wrote...
It's because it was initially developed as a PC exclusive before Microsoft got involved, I think.

Or maybe Shepard simply didn't pick heavy weapons in his loadout.

I wonder what catchy name the new class will have.
Swordsman?
Hitman?
Assassin?
Juggernaut?
