Hudson also announced that Commander Shepard's built team from the second part of Mass Effect 3 has fallen apart.

Say where's that from or I call it bull. They wouldn't dare. They wouldn't dare...

Yeah Im on the same page. I dont think this is accurate. I know we wont just have the whole 12 of ME2 right fromt he start and maintain that crew the whole game, we know that much already, but i also dont think it'll be at all like what happened at the sart of ME2 and most of the squad is coming back

If that is the new Normandy, I have fallen in love.

Blue and white happen to be my favorite colors. And I just so happen to see white and some blue on the Normandy.

Anyone notice on the first screen shot of Garrus, he's not wearing his bandages? Posted Image

Delurking to add: It makes sense that most of the squad wouldn't follow Shepard to Earth for the trial. If the Alliance is in a position to impound and tear up the Normandy, they'd also be up for grabbing various criminals, Cerberus operatives, dangerous aliens, etc (about half your squad, plus the whole crew). So maybe they're all on standby somewhere, or taking time off when the Reapers show up.

A few great features I've been wishing for are present! I'm still praying that the ammo-system goes back the way it was in ME1, I find looking out for my ammo and ammo in general such a drag and so distracting from the fun part of the game.

I'm hoping there will be vast worlds or spaces to be explored. A world needs to be explored, not presented ;)

In more exact terms, DICE is assisting BioWare with Mass Effect 3's weapons, the sounds they make, how they alter the environment into which they are fired, the details of how the projectiles fly through space and the distance the projectiles travel. In short... they're helping to make the guns fire good, straight and loud.

Wait, does that mean that we'll see more environmental damage?

No, since the environmental damage in Battlefield is down to the Frostbite engine that powers the game. The Unreal tech behind ME doesn't support environmental damage, to the extent that Frostbite does. That said, its not unlikely that we may se more damage like the bossfight in LotSB were the broker destroys covers if he is near them. That could lead to many interesting situations with the new groupfighting mechanics of the enemies.

Actually John Miller is technically the one who wrote them.

Well "scripted"  in comic book industry terms, but that works out to "broke story down into panels, including the basic action and 'shots' in each one, wrote all the dialogue and all the narration".  The only two Mac did both the story outline and the script for are the two free mini-comics: Incursion and Inquisition.  And maybe Genesis, but we don't talk about that.

Quarian Homeworld : Rannoch (Thought it didn't have a name yet)

Interestingly, the English word "Paradise" comes from an Old Iranian word meaning "walled enclosure", and it was commonly used to refer to parks and pleasure gardens.

What's Shepard supposed to do on the planet's surface, anyway? The geth aren't there.

No, they are.  Just not the majority.  They have platforms down there maintaining it and cleaning it up.

Sounds like a waste of time to be talking to a glorified vacuum cleaner, though.

Don't get me wrong, I lover that we're going to the planet, but I think there are better ways to handle the situation.

Watch the vid about creating Legion's voice: at ~3:50  we hear dialogue of Legion explaining that a particular place is for storing records of the Morning War, at which point Rob Blake cuts it off to avoid spoiling things. I.e., you're going there with Legion, or at least talking to Legion there.

In any case, it seems pretty obvious this will have something to do with the geth-quarian conflict, and likely its resolution.

I'm a bit puzzled at people being surprised that the ME2 group has broken up. The interviews with Hudson have more or less said that (the GI article mentions that some characters will only be cameos, for example). Plus, if Shep really does turn himself in, then most of the crew would need to leave before he did so. Fugitives and known associates of Cerberus could be thrown in jail - plus they don't have Spectre status to shield them like Shep does.

If Shepard turns himself/herself in [or is dragged kicking and screaming], you'd have to think the trial would be fairly lengthy. Even if it doesn't get that far in the actual game. We do know that the alliance is picking apart the ship- which means most of the crew isn't going to have a place to live. I don't think they'll be keeping too many of the ME2 crew on earth, to avoid them getting 'trapped' there when the reapers invade. [Since, from what it sounds like it's going to be a rush to escape.]

So, it's not surprising at all that a good chunk of the crew is in limbo whilst Shepard is getting the book thrown at them.

Ooh, wow. It's got a Systems Alliance emblem on it too... B)

I'm a bit disapointed in the size of this model. 6.25" is pretty small. I'd pay alot more for a model about 18" long. It's too small to even display next to my other models I have like good ol' NCC 1701.

The panel lines are a bit too pronounced too, for my tastes.

I hope they do the trial right, if they even stick with that arc. Officially Shepard is dead, so his return to Earth would also be a public relation event gone wild. The hero of the galaxy's return to his home planet Earth is going to be for a trial to appease the Batarians... I hope it's more than what Tali got on the Migrant Fleet.

And that's not even mentioning how the Alliance can't even legally hold a trial for him without Council approval (if he's a Spectre, which frankly even having a choice not to be a Spectre is a digression from ME1 in my mind), which I hope is addressed. I'm kind of tired of the Alliance/Cerberus emphasis, in ME1 he had Alliance support because he was the first and only human Spectre, the pride of humanity. That's not the case anymore, he's more than a symbol for just humans, but now for every race. I'd like to see some Council cheddar get him a new ship, the best in Council space, with crew from all races, not just humans with the occasional alien from Shepards squad.

One question. So is Garrus a full permanent squadmate? Or is he just available during one mission?

My thoughts exactly. These folks probably shouldn't be there.

There's no way of saying anything with 100% certainty at this point, but thus far all roads point to permanent status if he survived the events of ME2's finale. That and I'm pretty damn sure BioWare wouldn't make either him or Tali temporary. Fanbases and all that.

Does that mean the great Mordin Solus might not be a permanent companion? This can't be! If he won't say then he should at least do something just as epic as his character.
