Hi all,
So, I was looking at how I might edit the background feats. I looked into the backgrounds 2da and the feats 2da.
In the background2da, it lists the min of 10 strength, but nowhere in there or in the feats2da is there a place that lists the skill bonus/minus. Any ideas where those might be?

Feat effects like skill bonuses etc. are typically hardcoded.
You'd have to create a new or replacement version of the feat, then make it a persistent feat with a spellscript, make the corresponding spell entry and use spell script to alter the bonuses that are applied fie an Effect or an ItemProperty assigned to a player skin.

I think I'll try it a different way. So far, I added a new background, along with accompanying feat in the 2da's. It does show up in the character creation setup and is listed in the character sheet. However, the constant doesn't show up in the script assist globals tab. Is there anyway of getting newly listed rows in a 2da to show up in the script assist?

No, you will have to manually define them in a new include script which you refeence in all scripts that use them, or just use the raw number.

Yeah, if you take a look at the description of the "Constant" field on the feat.2da page on the wiki you'll see:
The name of the script constant used to represent this feat
in scripts. It is usually a combination of FEAT_ + the value of the
LABEL column. Constants are actually defined either in nwscript.nss
or another script file. The constant name in this field has no bearing
on any scripts, and is probably for reference purposes only.
