My Black Friday order just arrived this morning, earlier than I expected. XPO shipping times to Australia weren't as bad as I thought they would be.

One item I ordered was an N7 Fancy Tee and I can barely see the design on the front, is that normal? I also noticed that the cotton is a bit shiny, do I need to wash it first to get the design to look like it does in the picture?

I thought I would post a few pictures to give people a look. These were taken on my phone so they are not the greatest quality.

This is a shot under artificial light, I've folded it over so some of the design is visible as well as the logo on the back:

The next two were taken in the same room, this time with natural light:

If this is how they are meant to look then no problem, I'll hang on to it and wash it to see if that improves the contrast a bit. But in the photo on the store page the design appears to stand out more.

Don't know if it is the light, but yours looks a little less distinct than mine.  The main difference I see is the contrast between the 'Bioware' inside the collar and the design. The thermal is printed much more distinctly... the tee design is very subtle. The pic shown on the store is a little misleading, I agree. But, it looks very different in different light:

... it stands out a little more with flash.

Thank you!

The 'Bioware' inside the collar on mine is white, yours looks to be the same colour as the print, so that accounts for the difference there. And i know what you mean about it looking different with different lighting. It is currently overcast here and the design can barely be seen.

I finally found my battery charger so I'll use a real camera this time and do a comparison based on my results. I'm going to try fading the shirt a little by actually washing it too. As I said above the cotton is very shiny in its brand new state.

I have the same problem with the printing on the chest barely being visible in normal light. When I washed my tee the printing got more visible when it was wet, but as soon as it got dry again it became less visible.
