We know that demons are easily confused enough about the material world to possess corpses and trees, who knows what else they might get hold of?

You know, I hadn't thought of that; it opens up a whole bunch of possible encounters with new monsters/abominations

I want some creepy Kraken-esque creature, like the Watcher outside of Moria's back-door in Lord of the Rings.

EDIT: Maybe fighting its tentacles on the shore as it sweeps your feet or picks you up and shakes you in the air.

You left out how we love our FRENCH fries and DING DONGS. I love how the sterotypes seem to flow in about Americans, seems some of you have no clue what your bloody talking about. Nothing specific just more variety.

I really don't know whether it is art and animation time that is the problem, or just the fact that Bioware is trying to create a low magic less fantastical world.

Either way, my main complaint about the DA universe is a kind of boring bestiary.

Hey I still love the games, but would like to never see the darkspawn again, and see a lot of new critters besides bandits and bugs.
