Aveline looks much smaller than those three.

It may depend on the angle and what animation they're going through, it can be hard to tell.

Profile shots in similar pose, with bonus of random female NPC. I think most of impression about different size comes from shading of the outfit rather than actual shape. The shape difference is something that can be easily chalked up to one of them keeping her stuff laced up and likely wearing a bra.

My (poorly made) point was that while I believe the breasts are a bit large I don't see them as ridiculous or obscene or whatever.

Actually . . . not really.  If he has a good voice actor and a good personality, I think he could grow on me, but his face just doesn't draw me at all.  It can have a lot to do with the angle of the screenshot, though--lighting in video games is almost always subtly "off" compared with real life and it often makes people look really unattractive from one angle while they look perfectly fine from another angle.

Not in the slightest. He's actually quite the opposite to me :/

Hmm, Isabela's jugs look a lot bigger when you're looking down at her cleavage than when you're looking up at them from underneath like that.

She's a two face.  Like the Batman villain.

Google "The Witcher Woman Card" or something. Should get you the answer.
Be wary that there may be some nudity involved though. Female nudity.

Isabela and female soldier. It looks like there's a basic armored boob size and an unarmored boob size.

Well it may just be the angle but they look larger and more gravity defying than Isabela's to me.

Thanks for the warning, but I already know about cards. Still hard to make sense of what you wrote there, though.

Geez. I'm the only one who finds him good looking?

:/

Then again I have a long haired male fetish so that explains it.

So I have to wonder, are people objecting to the size of breasts or the perception that the modelers made them that way for fanservice's sake? It seems like the former but I would hope this discussion would not be happening if it was about real people, so it has to be the latter.

This thread is exhausting to read.

(Also, though I have not played The Witcher, Geralt is delicious.)

If I had to pick one, I'd say the latter. I'm not really objecting, but that being said I saw nothing wrong with say Mass Effect 1 builds - for men and women.

I don't think so.
Dragon Age just told you "Here is an achievement for watching a cutscene with two characters kissing in their underwear"
Whereas The Witcher told you "Here is a card featured the woman you just had sex with, only this one actually looks as if it is made to look like a real person, and it also features nudity. Feel free to start a collection. We expect you to, really".

There is a difference.
Achievement and Achievement.

I only mind fixed outfits when I can't stand looking at them. Thankfully none of the character designers of BioWare smoke the special crack of Tetsuya Nomura so there's no one running around in dresses made entirely of belts. That being said, I don't like Aveline's apron or Isabela's "outfit" :P

Look about the same to me, and just as unsupported.  Of course who needs to worry about jiggling when you can teleport.

I believe that's also Triss in a different outfit than you see in other shots, BTW.  And I do find Geralt very sexy, but like his TW1 apppearance better.  The TW2 model looks weird.  I mean, weirder than usual, and I don't like the hair.

I object to large breast simply because they are distracting, and I have a hard enough time paying attention to things as it is.

Former? I hope not. Everything's better with breasts. Gets a little bit tiresome when art directors try to stick them in our eyes, though.

And it's been a while since the last time we had a good bewb thread. This is nice.

I think Isabela looks extra busty here simply because of the contrast. She's wearing white, the "armoured" folks are wearing darker colours.. her curves just stand out more than theirs. Maybe they really are different sizes though.

I'm not too upset about the boob sizes overall, a little annoyed at how it looks the characters are wearing bras in a time when there shouldn't be bras (but given how the undergarments in Origins look, apparently there WERE bras so I just need to get over that). Isabela seems fairly normal from other angles (in this photo they look a lot larger to me than in the photo from the dev diary where she is talking to Hawke) and Bethany looks like sh is getting a "push up" deal from a corset or something. Aveline seems ok though I would expect her to be a little more flat-chested if she is squeezing into plate amrour later on (but then, we've seen feminised armour here or there like the female-version of splintmail in Origins/Awakening so we don't have to assume only flat chested women can put the stuff on). Hm, I'm rambling. About boobs.

He means that the second one comes along with a loud "wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean?" and a suggestive leer.  In Origins, it was more "awww, you had a womance, here have an achievement you big cuddly bear!" and in The Witcher it was more along the lines of "Oh yeah, I got laid again, I'm putting another notch on my codpiece!"

Man, the only reason I cared about Morrigan in the first place was because of Lulu.... ah, Lulu...

I don't mind dresses made of belts, though. If someone wants to wear a belt dress and it looks fine, whatever.
