If i remember right, the woman who's with Geralt in that screenshot is owner of local brothel. So her outfit has some actual justification -- she's literally advertising her business.Addai67 wrote...
I believe that's also Triss in a different outfit than you see in other shots, BTW.

There is a difference.
Achievement and Achievement.
He means that the second one comes along with a loud "wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean?" and a suggestive leer. In Origins, it was more "awww, you had a womance, here have an achievement you big cuddly bear!" and in The Witcher it was more along the lines of "Oh yeah, I got laid again, I'm putting another notch on my codpiece!"
Sublime way of putting it.
I really should have thought of that Monty Python reference myself. Good on you.

Yeah, never minded Lulu's nor Morrigan outfit, either. With Lulu that was especially easy, i mean hard to get up in arms about other people's wardrobe when your own character is stuck with an w.t.f outfit.yukidama wrote...
Man, the only reason I cared about Morrigan in the first place was because of Lulu.... ah, Lulu...
I don't mind dresses made of belts, though. If someone wants to wear a belt dress and it looks fine, whatever.

So I have to wonder, are people objecting to the size of breasts or the perception that the modelers made them that way for fanservice's sake?
Isabela's large and obviously made to be visually appealing breasts do not bother me. Having the same on my PC or Aveline would, especially my PC.

She should so have a bear trap in there like the one Jessica Rabbit does in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I only mind fixed outfits when I can't stand looking at them. Thankfully none of the character designers of BioWare smoke the special crack of Tetsuya Nomura so there's no one running around in dresses made entirely of belts.

I adored Lulu, but her outfit was just ridiculous (as were most of the outfits in FFX IMO). I don't know how in the flying monkey hell she managed to run in that thing.

I tend to think that the people who reliably deliver a diverse sampling of strong female perspectives have better intentions than just fanservice for the sake of it. But maybe that's just me.

IIRC Sheryl mentioned in the other breast thread that Lady Hawke was frequently armored and that her chest was, well... appropriately armored.

I'd guess that's a concept sketch for the model builder, and that last drawing is to give them idea about character's body type.GodWood wrote...

Well, either that or the artist was just looking for excuse to draw a bum

Hmm, Isabela's jugs look a lot bigger when you're looking down at her cleavage than when you're looking up at them from underneath like that.
I believe that's also Triss in a different outfit than you see in other shots, BTW. And I do find Geralt very sexy, but like his TW1 apppearance better. The TW2 model looks weird. I mean, weirder than usual, and I don't like the hair.
On the plus side she can crush darkspawn to death with those puppies

I was slightly bothered by the armor-so-tight-you-had-butt-cleavage, but that was largely because it looked REALLY uncomfortable, just, you KNOW that's getting invasive after 5 minutes. But the body models in general I really liked. Kaidan and Alistair looked REALLY similar to me, but I think that was due to the walk more than anything.

I recall before Dragon Age: Origins, David complained that whenever he described a woman as being nobility or 'a lady,' the artists would give her larger boobs and a plunging bustline.

No, it originates from tinned meat product. Using it to refer to internet repetition/blither is a Monty Python reference.
