Wow, one little blurb and everyone here seems to know how the entirety of ME3 is gonna play out. Would one of you mind letting the rest of us in on what's going to happen throughout the rest of the game? Oh, what are some of the side mission? Were the romances good?

Seems to me that most people need to chill out and wait for more details before grabbing the torches and pitchforks.

When we get more info = "Wait for screens"
When we get screens = "Wait for trailers"
When we get trailers = "Play the game"
After that = "The game is done, don't play if you don't like"

I doubt anyone's going for torches or pitchforks. It's just that not everyone's convinced this will be good.

Again, I could understand this if we had some more information (developer interviews, screenshots, trailers etc..) but the people whining because one little blurb is pretty ridiculous.

Just as long as it does NOT have multiplayer in the game, sounds good. :)

Engine is not a game.

BTW nice logic. Every sequel is expansion then?

Sounds like a Space Dragon Age  What isn't bad in my opinion (if it's made good).

Well,as i said before,take Avatar movie for example.Chronology of Events :

1)Jake speaks as Toruk Mato and says it's time to 'send a message' to the sky people that this is their, the Na'vi's, land.
2)But to do so, they first must go to each of the Na'vi clans to ask them to come and fight as one

The Earth thing feels unexpected, perhaps to the point of being interesting.

P.S.

Sixty bucks... Anyone knows how much Euros was it on that store?

I think, the more popular conversion rate (at least, from the seller's point of view) is 1$ = 1€. Expect if you are adobe, than it's possibly even worse ;)

inb4 how me3 plays out.
Opening cinematic which involves the reapers attacking earth.
Tutorial mission.
Initial story mission introducing you to your first party members.
{Choose one of four planets}
Go to that planet, meet with the leader.
"Our army is too occupied with (small scale problem) to even think about joining you."
Go and solve their problem, maybe a moral choice on the way and meet party members.
"We pledge our allegiance"} x3
Another story mission where '**** gets real'.
Previous loop, one last time.
Final missions.
Credits roll. (with no Faunts)

That would be such a disappointment if that was the case. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised either.

I'm pretty sure it'll play exactly like that. Anyway, even though it sounds pretty stupid written like that, it WILL be executed pretty damn good. Just look at DAO, that's the exact story.

True, but I'd argue that DAO didn't execute it well.  Look at the people who want to skip "The Fade" with mods.

I hope this is all dis-information because I'd rather have the final battle take place somewhere else on some remote planet with ancient alien tech that you need to use against the reapers or something, I'd much rather want to be able to go to earth while its full of mega cities and stuff and not rubble

as the OP said, ME3 is DAO in space. You must gather the support of the Asari, Turians, Salarians (Maybe these three will have a sole mission), Alliance/Cerberus, Geth/Quarians (or both), Krogans and maybe even the Batarians.

The Hanar are also a possible recruit, since they "control" the Drell.

So, The Witcher is an expansion to Neverwinter Nights? AMAZING

So by your saying, ME2 is an expansion to ME1, DA2 is an expansion to DAO, Fallout 3 is an expansion to Oblivion, Arkham City is an expansion to Arkham Asylum, Crysis 2 is an expansion to Crysis etc etc.

Hell, 90% of sequels have the same engine.

Don't forget that ME uses the unreal engine, so that also includes games like Alpha Protocol, Gears of War, 50 Cent, Arkham Asylum, Unreal Tournament 3, Borderlands, Rainbox Six Vegas, Endwar etc etc.

My opinion about Mass Effect 3?
"I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game in the Universe"
The game itself will be like fight through hell. There will be no time for scanning planets, collecting minerals, doing side - quests, buying upgrades etc. The Earth is on fire! Shepard needs to get there as fast as he can and kick some Reaper's ass. The question is: HOW?! Remeber how much effort it took to take down only ONE, OLD Reaper? How 'bout hundreds of thousands of Reapers? Galactic civilizations are doomed. Nothing and Nobody can't stop them.
All is lost!

As to ME3 being DA:O in space, well, I thought that was almost obvious. Like, just hanging right there. And NO, it is NOT a bad thing. Not at all.

have you seen how much space that Mass effect 2 occupy in the hard disk? I sure that mass effect 3 will be bigger, that means more discs = more expensive

The point he was trying to make is that they are charging the same price for the PC version as they are the console version and they shouldn't.  There are extra costs involved with the console version that are NOT present with the PC version.  The main extra cost is the console royalty fee, every console game sold at least $10 goes straight to Sony/Microsoft.  The PC does not have this royalty fee and it is the reason nearly all games on the PC are $10 cheaper than the console version.

In short EA are price gouging PC gamers there should be a $10 difference between the PC version and the console version and it is obvious EA are trying to take PC gamers for mugs.

PC gamers are mug... they can't even pay a game at the same price than console...

Many corporation have begun to sell game at the same price on both PC/Console. Why put different price when you can do more money ? :P:wizard:

Its not like if a large part of each race fleet was there when fighting sovereign and the Geth ship did most of every kills...

Alliance Fleet + Cerberus Fleet + Asari Fleet + Turian Fleet + Salarian Fleet + Rachni Fleet + Geth Fleet + Mercs/Aria/Terminus Fleet + Quarian Fleet + Batarian Fleet + KroganReapers
