P.S.
Sixty bucks... Anyone knows how much Euros was it on that store?

60 US dollars=approximately 46 euros."Collector's edition" will be more expensive,of course.

Either that or the "more popular" conversion rate of 1 Dollar = 1 Euro. Was just wondering if all hope for the marketing department to spontaneously suffocate is lost or not.

My opinion about Mass Effect 3?
"I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game in the Universe"
The game itself will be like fight through hell. There will be no time for scanning planets, collecting minerals, doing side - quests, buying upgrades etc. The Earth is on fire! Shepard needs to get there as fast as he can and kick some Reaper's ass. The question is: HOW?! Remeber how much effort it took to take down only ONE, OLD Reaper? How 'bout hundreds of thousands of Reapers? Galactic civilizations are doomed. Nothing and Nobody can't stop them.
All is lost!

Its not like if a large part of each race fleet was there when fighting sovereign and the Geth ship did most of every kills...

Alliance Fleet + Cerberus Fleet + Asari Fleet + Turian Fleet + Salarian Fleet + Rachni Fleet + Geth Fleet + Mercs/Aria/Terminus Fleet + Quarian Fleet + Batarian Fleet + KroganReapers

I just hope the whole game will be not about iterating this boring list (of homeworlds and doing chores for them), but a more varied and unexpected set of types of missions going to truly unexpected places.

I also hope (or perhaps think it would make sense) the Earth is lost... at least partially... enslaved, maybe... because even one Reaper was no match to all the stuff in the Citadel battle.

The expected invasion of Earth. The predictable, but still fun, final part.
Bring it on!

The Protheans were more advanced than any known Mass Effect species and even they were unable to stop the Reapers. It seems like they were not even able to cause some big casualties to the Reapers. I dont see how the Council species + Geth + some unimportant guys could stop Reapers without some divine intervention ... maybe Shepard can charm / intimidate the Reapers to leave?

yes, but you have to achieve full paragon or renegade on all three games, of course. No one is saying that influencing world-destroying machines is easy. ;)

Well, the good news is we get to go to Earth, the bad news is they blew it up. But the question is why Earth? What is so special about our planet that the Reapers would attack it first?

I think that the only way to stop the Reapers is to use some kind of superweapon like.. i don't know what...
But! Remember that old, derelic Reaper?

"It is believed that 37 million years ago, an unknown spacefaring race fired a mass accelerator round of incredible speed and power at the Reaper, which hit and disabled it. The round continued moving, eventually impacting the planet Klendagon and creating the Great Rift Valley there. This Reaper's death was likely the unknown race's last act of defiance before their imposed extinction."

How cool is that, huh? Maybe there are more of these mass accelerators...or maybe they are mass relays? Hmm...

Because the Reapers want to destroy/enslave Humanity. They're afraid of Humans since Shepard destroyed Sovereign and Collectors.

I think that's about our only shot at them. Surely generic star ships and assault rifles won't take out a huge fleet of Sovereign-like ships, and you know what Sovereign alone did.

Same here.  Recycle the DA plot if you like.  I'll love it, just please, BW, keep multiplayer  the hell away from ME3.

Actually Co-op missions could be really cool. Maybe you could play as a squad of mercenaries going on missions that run parallel to Shepard's story.

The Protheans were caught off guard, and the Reapers fully utilized a communications blackout along with surging in instantly via the Citadel. The current galaxy has full warning, and intact coordination, which of course is being handled by Shepard.

Please don't take us to America. I'm sick of America being the whole "last stand" place of the world. You don't even have to take us to a city, just not goddamn America! Please!

Warning? something other than racist terrorist group, sentient machines feared by / not communicating with the rest of the galaxy and a crazy ex-soldier (and his/her sect)?
As for the communications, is there any reason to expect the Reapers not to hit them first again?
