Is there any way to grant an extra attack to a PC in this game? If there's no way to do that directly, then a BAB increase would be an acceptable workaround. I tried both the "EffectModifyAttacks" and "EffectBABMinimum" functions and neither works (as promised in the broken functions thread here D: ).
Increasing attacks or BAB possible?

I am not sure how to script it, but increasing BAB can be done from the debug console in runtime, therefore it may be possible to script somehow.
I think you can create items that do this. Maybe that would be an acceptable workaround. Also there is the matter of an "animal skin". This is an item that can be equipped and can be endowed with special properties. I've done it, but it's been awhile. There are several threads on it and a search should turn up some information.

Thanks, using the console is good enough for me. I wanted to replace flurry of blows with a custom feat that's basically on all the time since the AI is horrible with combat modes, and also to fix how it gives one attack too many. I can just have the feat apply a -6 AB now to counter the BAB increase which means a +0, -5 attack routine instead of -2, -2, which is close enough.

I'm pretty sure EffectModifyAttacks will work. Looking back at some *very* old code I wrote for a PRC, that's what I used to achieve the desired effect.

I tried it with varying values but couldn't get it to do anything.

I finally got EffectModifyAttacks working after redoing the script from scratch, not sure what I was doing wrong initially. Thanks for the help, I wouldn't have bothered trying anymore if you hadn't told me you had used it succesfully.

In my experience it generally does give extra attacks as it should, but those attacks won't show on the character sheet attack schedule. Flurry, on the other hand, does show. Not sure why.
