I'm curious if you actually get different dialogue when you carry over a character from the OC and go talk to Bishop in the wall vs. if you just create a new character. Same with Ammon Jerro if you fix him up.
I'm also too unmotivated to play MotB again to test xD; I noticed when I made a new character for it they gave me multiple options when my character reached the Bishop dream -- IE, "I saw you walk away" or "I killed you" etc. Does it just simply remember what you did, or does it stay generic?
Does companion influence carry over to MotB?

It stays generic, none of the campaign data from the OC is actually exported with your character. You can tell Safiya your heart belongs to Elanee even if you killed her in the OC, for example. It's entirely up to the player to not break continuity.

Did you finally play OC+MotB, or only MotB?

Haha I did it backwards. I played MotB with a new character (figured I might not have time for both) then realized I had a lot of vacation time I had to either use or lose so....then I played the OC. xD;;

Since rocks fell and (most) everyone died, regardless of how you loved/hated your henchmen in the OC, the dialogue is always the same. The only time I saw a different dialogue option come up was when I played an evil character and talked to Bishop in the wall.
But beyond that, nope. Do whatever you want in OC, makes no difference in MotB (even if you side with the King of Shadows in OC, if you import that character into MotB, your journal and conversations will reflect a character that killed the KoS instead and saved the Sword Coast.
Sort of like DA Awakenings treatment of US endings in Origins.

Yeah, I still don't own Awakenings. Nothing anyone said about it really gave me the itch to buy it.
