Humans are now a Council race. I think they can't just ignore millions of humans dying, not if Shepard has anything to say about it.

I assume, judging by the EA leak, that part of ME3, at least, is going to be about convincing various species to join the fight against the reapers to aid earth.  If it was going to be as simple as the council saying "Sure, we'll go fight the Reapers with you," there probably wouldn't be much of a game...not to mention they weren't much good during ME2 what with all the colonies disappearing by the thousands.

That aside, I had said it in a semi-joking manner.

Hale deserves the award, if not for her work in ME2, then for her work for the Videogaming industry in general.

She's such a consistent voice actress who whips out great performance after great performance.

While I do expect ME3 is going to involve convincing species to fight the Reapers and building an army, I do think the Council is going to accept the Reaper invasion pretty quickly. Of course, that doesn't mean they're going to be able to convince everyone since they know so little about what they're fighting.They'll need to send someone who understands what they're up against. Cue Shepard.
