He/She has character becuase you decide what kind of character he/she has.  COD: BO the character is ver y linear and you have no control to my knowledge as to how that "character" acts and reacts other than shooting.

Well, all in all, this is just one out of many GotY awards,m so ME2 could still be one of 'em. I'm betting IGN'll award ME2 with it (and probably show some love to LotSB, unlike the stoopid Spike judges, blast'em )

And ME2 should've won. RDR may be good, but did not have the impact ME2 had.

While ME2 was very good, I don't think it was as hard hitting as RDR, which was a new game.

I'd assume not for awhile.  ME2 DLC isn't finished yet, and I remember we didn't get a teaser website for ME2 for awhile after it was released.

I won't deny it...RDR was fun.  But it WASN'T GotY material, imo.

Actually, it was. It had just about everything you could imagine in a Western-style sandbox. Beautifully done piece of art.

if anything, maybe a contact when you get to Earth, but he was probably a tool for the plot trailer. Nothing more.

I hope not.  He has potential I think.  Why go through the trouble of introducing a character in such an epic trailer without making said character part of the game?

ME2 - RPG of the year - Cool!
BW - Studio of the year - Really cool! 
Ohter than that I think I just waisted 2 hours of my life waiting for DLC and female voice.

This awards show, though gittered with celebs and exclusive content, was really poorly written, and was more focused on its product placement and exclusive reveals than THE VIDEO GAME AWARDS.

The VGAs, everyone.

I'm not wasting my time on this show again, I'm just going to wait for the news on the gaming websites from now on.

I liked the parts when they were actually saying the nominees and announcing the winner, I mean, maybe it's just me but I think this is the way a ceremony like this should be. But maybe I'm wrong.
