Those where the awards that were actually given on the show, the other categories were rapid fired before commercials or not mentioned at all. For what I gather, RDR won score and DLC. ME2 won best RPG, adn Scott Pilgrim best adapted game. I didn't catch any others

Thing is, if he was a squaddie, Shepard would surely have told him what those 'things' were.

Although more to the point, if he has spoken to Shepard (probably hasn't, as Mindless said, just a tool for the trailer) then why hasn't Shepard told him what they are...

One other thing though, what the frell was that thing that he sniped. Didn't look like a Husk

Anyone notice since this show came on on 08 that only very well known company names with big selling games like halo and gta always win? thats why i was shocked when a small selling game like Uncharted won last year... hopefully ME 3 can as well next year...Since it is a RPG i doubt it though....

Actually, it was. It had just about everything you could imagine in a Western-style sandbox. Beautifully done piece of art.

And I respectfully disagree that it should have been top-contender out of all the other nominees.  Said as someone who owns, plays, and has enjoyed RDR.  Just not seeing it.

The 40 minutes I wasted after the ME3 trailer was worth it for Uncharted 3. Other than that a horrible award show.

he's MI6 most likely a contact at first and then possibly a squadmate when shep gets on earth but don't count on a squadmate. he was surrounded by reapers

I'll admit that I found myself forwarding through all of the meaningless dialogue and terrible jokes just to watch trailers. The only two that interested me were TES V and ME3. TBH I didn't expect them to announce it would be holiday 2011. I honestly can't wait.

It pretty much shows you this award show is a joke when the Game of the year doesn't even win its own genre award.

I personally don't think that rdr had the replay value that me2 does i have both and after i beat rdr i was done me2 im still playing constantly
