And if you say something about soveriegn destroy an entire fleet heres my already asablisted counterpoints.

- Under the codex it states "no sane commander would face a
dreadnought without a dreadnought of his or her own." Sovereign
obviously knew this and sent the Geth to deal with the destany assention, while
it in turn moved into the citadel and closed its indestructible wings.
- Remember the alliance only lost 8 cruisers when they finished off
the remaining Geth fleet and sovereign. (Less alliance ships were lost
on renegade ending)- That lone reaper was supported by an entire "Heretic Geth Fleet"
- The council was slow to react and did not heed shepherds advice and
sent a large majority of its fleet to different mass relays.
- Sovereign and its Geth allies only fought against turian cruisers
and one Asari dreadnought. Before the allience sent more cruisers to
assist.***

If memory serves correct, Bioware did confirm that the effort/energy required to reanimate Saren against Shepard was what made Sovereign vulnerable to attack. We're talking about a ship with mass effect fields powerful enough to land on a planet. It can oneshot regular dreadnaughts.

A whole fleet of them would blow through the alliance like paper.

Ah yes, Earth: The place where the guy who has Reaper dreams is from.:alien:

Doesn't this trailer confirm that the whole conduit thing is moot and the reapers can just invade?

I really, really, hope that there isn't some mass tactical withdrawal from earth in a misguided attempt to appear gritty in ME3. Absolutely nothing about our history as a species suggests that we would ever do what the Quorians did and up and leave our home world.

I have enough faith in Bioware that I'm sure, it won't just be earth that is attacked and we won't abandon the earth.

Well not everyone would leave, but I am sure their will a good portion of the population that will leave out of fear. So basically some will leave but most will stay to fight.
Also from the trailer i dont think the Reapers gave us time to retreat, i think they just popped up surrounding Earth and attacked planet wide.

Yes, that is strange imo. I hope they have a good reason for the Reapers able to leave Dark Space from another access point besides the Citadel. Or if there is a reason given already, could someone enlighten me?

I really don't think that voice is Sean Bean.  After playing oblivion a hundred times and watching the fellowship of the ring 200 times, I 'm telling you, It's not him.

SPOILER COMING UP (ME2) Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but what does everyone think about the number code given by David at the end of overlord? It looks like it will have some relevance to ME3 but how? It was mentioned in the initial barcode hints that when deciphered mentioned two groups of numbers (something like 901.24 and 30.2)
A lot of players thought that this was this had a coinnection to the atomic mass of iron/Vostok etc, but im left wondering what the repeated inference by David to these numbers , and why "it seemed so harmless..."
I think adding these numbers together = bad times and much harm in ME3!

You are looking into that way too much.  Those numbers have meaning to David as it was the only way he could express his feelings.  The "it seemed so harmless" line is about the experiment he was forced to live.  In short 30.02 probably meant get me the hell out of this thing!

I put a fony DOB for mostly everything, especially steam which asks for it each time you restart it (or when you look at M rated games anyway). For a site like GT, I feel it doesn't really matter.

The Citadel and Mass Relays is likely the most energy conservative of getting from dark space to the galaxy vs high FTL or whatever other means they have... otherwise it wouldn't have been their initial strategy.  It also allows them to take control of the main method of getting from one end of the galaxy to the other.

The conduit is moot, so now the Reapers have to manually fly to the Milky way galaxy either that they have an alternate plan , I have a theory it has something to do with Haestrom

They've probably started hiking it right after sovereign blew up, taking years to get here "on foot".
Collectors were another method to pave the way.

But like others have said, itll be interesting to see what tricks the reapers have up their.... tenticles.

edit: Keep in mind that the keepers from ME1 "malfunctioned" and did not open up the relay when the 50,000 year mark came this time around... hence the need for saren activating the conduit.

it all stems from the Keepers in ME1. For some reason (Protheans may have done something here, theoretically speaking) the Keepers "malfunctioned" or "refused" to open the relay within the citadel, denying the Reapers of going on a genocidal rampage this time around... At this point the Reapers were wondering wtf is going on, so they contacted Soveriegn, and well the rest is history.
So after Saren and Sovereign were destroyed, the conduit being deactivated, and no other means of instant travel, the Reapers have to foot it here... which seems to be taking years.
The collectors were another method of paving the way for the Reapers' return...

If that was there was too it though it would be a huge waste of time. It's likely are not enough Reapers to go head to head with the civilisations they reap(which is my theory). Hence the need for sneakyness on the part of the Reapers.

3 years extra for a supposedly immortal race is not that big a deal. Unless there is something about that journey that is bad for the Reapers.

Can't find it in his credits listing. Eiter it's too minor to add, or he's in ME3 and it's covered by NDA.

At first I thought it was the Aussie actor from Clash of the Titans/Avatar doing a London accent. If it's not him then it's probably just a normal voice actor. Could be one of the voice cast featured in CoD4.
