-I hope you get to have the English guy as a squad member, seems less of a gypo then Zaeed.
-I'm guessing this attack isn't actually the opening to the game and the attack would take place after a few play hours of ass licking for squad members, unless it's an imediate continuation from ME2 (sin as me1 was set 2 years in the future it's understandable that it seemed seperate from ME1 being that the game was based on recruiting new members) so ME3 im guessing is an instant sequal to ME2 which would explain the PS3 conversion for ME2 so that ME3 would make sence to them because ME1 would be too outdated to convert and could be understood and explained through other methods (a book- Dvd to sumerise would have been better)
- I'm side tracking here but just realised this while i was typing lol

- its gonna be a great game and its cool seeing london in it, but i hope its not just the UK gettin pawned because they don't want America to look bad =/

Being a lad from England, I'm all for the Collectors blowing up the Gherkin. So sick of seeing feature on every TV show.



But I would also like to see the Earth having to be evacuated, meaning humanity has to start all over again, but on a whole new planet. Might make future ME games interesting to see how humanity is getting along.

After ME3 there will be no Shepard; (the trilogy is merely a story about his epicness) so I won't give a damn about the franchise afterwords. Will prob go to hell like StarWars and they will milk that cows ****** to hell.

 That trailer is so good! ! Can't wait for the game You only see 5 Reapers in London, and we saw Millions at the end of Mass Effect 2... So it can't just be Earth they are trying to destroy... I always thought the Reapers were out to destory every living creature, and Earth is such a small part of the Milky Way (I'm talking Ten pence compared to the United States of America :L)... And why would all of the forces (Asari, Krogan, Geth etc...) Join together to protect Earth, as it is probably the least important planet, obviously not for Humans, but for all the other races...

Thats actually quite an interesting thought. Maybe Earth is basically already destroyed and it hits humanity hard... Then they unite with the other species to fight off the Reapers.

Speaking of Reapers, how exactly is Shepard going to be able to defeat like a million Reapers? :L Does he have nukes on the Normandy SR-3 or something :L

Fun fact, this trailer was released during the London Student riots.

Which spawned such hilarities as: "I knew it! The Lib Dems sold us out to the Reapers!" and "The Reapers are Kettling us!"

I counted a total of 8 Reapers. And thats just in about a mile of each other. So if this is any indication of what the rest of the cities are experiencing, I have no idea wth anyone is gonna do

Some lines that got my attention:

Now given Cereberus and their drive towards the continued enhancement and survival of humanity often no matter the cost, does that not pair up a little to well?

Personal speculation...

The Illusive Man works with the reapers, consciously or inadvertently, but he's not the top of the cerberus food chain.

Also, N7 isn't military, there a contractor like Lockheed Martin. They stuff for the military, but they're not part of the alliance, I'm sure cerderus can buy their stuff too.

My theory is that BioWare used Earth as a symbol of how badly the Reapers have hit humanity... I personally don't think and I hope that the game will not be solely about Earth, because part of Mass Effect is about exploring different worlds And it makes no sense that all the Reapers would attack Earth, I think the whole of The Milky Way is being attacked and they just used Earth, maybe to get the attention of non-Mass Effect players... They'll probably say "Sweet, I get to defend Earth from giant machines, I'm buying that game" :L

I want to see all the species unite and fight off the Reapers, It would be sad if ME3 was all about Humanity and Earth, I reckon that a more "Revealing" Trailer will be given at a later date

And I hope none of you have forgotten about The Collectors, Harbinger is not dead you know :L, with his "Releasing Control" right at the end

I'll say the opposite of some: I hope you do beat the Reapers without some 'trick' ending. People want to make them Cthulhu, and they aren't. They are really powerful, and they /do/ have parallels. But they have been killed before. They aren't unstoppable. They are not Galactus (who, btw, has been actually defeated before ;>).

Looking forward to this a lot, though.
