Anyone notice the giant ferris wheel in futuristic London? At least that's what it looks like.
Dude, there's a big ass ferris wheel in London right now. Get to know the planet you live on.
Why would anyone know some secondary landmark from a country they didn't live in? I know I've heard about it in passing, but it's not like it gets a lot of focus. Hell, I'm pretty sure the only reason the world knows about secondary American landmarks is because of Hollywood.
It's not really secondary though...
Things Americans know in passing about London:
- There's a Queen, lives in that palace with the fancy name and every Brit knows her personally.
- Big Ben. It's there. Peter Pan flies around it.
- If you've seen V for Vendetta, you know about the Old Bailey (whatever the hell that does) and Parliament.
- The Thames, and it's filthy.
- A tower, people get imprisoned in it. Maybe not anymore.
Excusing those, everything else no one (at least, no American) is bound to know.
ETA: In case anyone is curious, yes, most of it is joking sarcasm.
