Why are all those weather balloons attacking London?

Ah yes, "Weather", we have dismissed those claims. Turns out your Al Gore was right all those years ago.

Eight. And if that's just in this small section of London sky...how the **** are we going to beat them? Man...this is going to be epic.

Quarian Fleet. Geth Armada and Heavy artillery. Krogan Shock Troops lead by Wrex. Rachni. The Joint Council Forces.

And Kal freaking Reeger. Against a Reaper. With a Cain.

Yeah...Yeah...but talk about "suicide mission"....these are some (seemily) seriously insurmountable odds...it wouldn't be much of a game if we didn't win.  But it gave me that "oh f***" moment, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Shepard and his team ends up sacrificing himself, seriously that just looks crazy.

And that's why, when we win, it's going to feel SO ****ING EPIC.

Remember when the fleet took down Soveriegn and how amazing that felt?

Thousands of times over.

I have a feeling that the games end will actually not be focused on earth. That trailer and how it was done makes me think: this is urgent, from the get go. No way theres recruiting or preparing that can be done before hand. EARTH itself is at stake. So what is Shepard to do? Go straight there in the beginning with his ME2 crew. Perhaps some die, perhaps none due, then recruiting the guy in the trailer takes place, kick some reaper ass and THEN rally the other races and groups to your aid. against the BIG confrontation. Not all the Reapers can have arrived on Earth, otherwise it would have been whipped out in an instance.

Of course it will be more creative than all that rambling I just said, but, in a nutshell thats how I think ME3 will play out. With surprises thrown in. I could and possibly AM completely wrong, but from my understanding of Shepard and the threat that makes the most sense to me.

Either way, i can't wait!

"Not all the Reapers can have arrived on Earth, otherwise it would have been whipped out in an instance."  they don't want to whipe us out they want to change us.

From what we saw though it was only them not their agents. So, who knows even if they CAN abduct us and use without a slave race to do the manual labor? lol Either way ALL of earth would of been taken/killed if all the reapers showed up at once. Or at least the majority.

Do you think Santa can use his magic to bring us the game for xmas this year? If not, I already know what will be on the top of my list for xmas next year (if it does not come out sooner).

I'm glad there are BioWare employees in here that help guide the flow of conversation and drop hints. Especially hints that relieve fears of fans like me. Thanks for considering our feedback with open ears.

I just YouTubed the trailer and watched it five more times, and the Reapers...are...incredible! The graphics look state-of-the-art, and I loved the cinematic intensity: Reapers laying ruin to London, SA and/or Cerberus aircraft flying around. Im thinking there may be a new healing mechanism hinted at when the guy injected himself. It had a dark feel, beyond just the circumstances, and that's awesome for this game.

Statham? He's an action movie actor. Did well in the transporter, so he's been type-casted into shooter-racing genre movies ever since. Sad since he's actually a good actor when given a solid role.

He's british, and sorta looks like Mr. Big Ben. Wouldn't say there's any relation though.

I don't know....whose to say it isn't the entire Reaper fleet invading Earth?  I mean as I said, in the trailer (which we are only seeing a very small part of the London sky) we see 8 Reapers.  The guy in the trailer does say that it is a coordinated attack - imagine that the same thing is happening in every "major" city across the world...that's a lot of f****** Reapers - there goes another "oh f***" moment.  Hope you have been making friends - I think that we might need them.

This is how they choose to end the Mass Effect Epic? Its such a... pedestrian option they seem to have chosen. It makes no sense to attack Earth, none at all. You can't say revenge because they are machines, they dont suffer from petty emotions like revenge.

What happend Bioware? Did you loose the nerve to continue doing something original?

If this is indeed how they intend on ending the series, then I doubt it will be worth getting.

Not Statham, I know him, Strahm... at the begining of the trhread someone say this "Jason Strahm" was the model and voice of the solider in the trailer...

The face looks like Statham...but the voice doesn't quite sound right.  I have seen Sean Bean (Boromir) suggested as well.  Either is awesome - shows that Bioware is going to keep up the great voice acting for the next game.

Could you actually wait to PLAY the game before judging? From the creators of the ME and DA universe, I certainly expect more than your average cliché of "saving the Earth". It's true it's an extremely overused plot, but who knows? Maybe Bioware gives us a fresh story.

I certainly will wait until the game is released before judging.

Maybe it is. Just watched trialer again and saw someone - something - get shot by the dude so perhaps they still have some agents. That and I have to imagine the scale... the numbers of people on Earth at this many years in the future. Big number. We're humans, we know how to take a stand. Hell we managed to defend ourselves to an extent in the Mass Effect universe's past in the First Contact war against our first alien threat. So, who knows what Earth is capable of at this point. We haven't seen it yet. I've been waiting to.

Odd. We dream to leave our planet, but when a game gives us just that, we wish to return to see how its changed lol

It's great to be a gamer...don't forget that we are supposed to be getting more bridging DLC as well...not to mention some of the other games that are out, like AC:Brotherhood...and motion controllers - Kinect is fun and if you're not careful it will kick your @ss - played for 4 hours the other day and was sore for the next two days.

This crossed my mind too.  Why earth?  I mean yea we have been asking to go to Earth for so long, but I am curious as to how they tie in Earth to the Reapers.  Do the Reapers perhaps feel threatened by Humans so therefore they are attacking their homeworld?

Anyways they had a trailer for ME2 with Grunt, Thane and Shepard that didn't really make it into the game.  Nor from ME1 with the Caleston reference, didn't make the final game either.  Sooo maybe this is just a general overview of what to kinda expect, minus any big plots twists.

Watch it again...pause at 17s or 38s and you will see why people are saying there is a resemblance to Statham...if fact if there is anyone that wants to do a side by side that would be awesome.  I would, but alas I am just not that skilled...

The reapers are attacking Earth because they pose the biggest threat.
Saren was caught (sorta) at Eden Prime, a human colony.
Saren hunted by Shepard & the SSV Normandy, a human commando and human ship
Sovereign destroyed by the alliance fleet, human only.
Shepard is back to life, by the human organization Cerberus
Shepard, a human, defeats the Collectors, with a mainly human crew, on Horizon and at their base.

While its not the best choice for the reapers, it is certainly plausible. Don't see why everybody's seeing this as a cop-out.

Wouldn't the Alliance Military already be nearly decimated? It really looks like the Reapers are cleaning house.

Maybe not. It sounds like they went straight for earth, and the Alliance isn't stationed there.

I'll have DA2, DeadSpace2, Bulletstorm (possibly), Deus Ex, and whatever bridging DLC comes along for ME3. So hopefully all that can hold me over. AC: Bro when cheap.
