If you doubt it and don't see the resemblance check out his role in Beowulf.
Motion capture and CGI is the damn best diet these days.

If the game starts with the invasion of earth than that could put a very meaningful and interesting spin on game pacing. No longer will it make sense to doddle around with small sidequests and mining. It would be nice to have a system that builds on the "relay mission" from ME2... the sooner you go in, the worse the outcome to your allies, but the longer you wait, the worse the outcome of earth. I think there should be no "perfect ending", but instead a hard time limit where you can only do s many missions before it is too late, so pick and choose. Wait too long, and earth is lost.

Everyone remembers the first cinematic trailers for ME1 and ME2 weren't accurate as far as the story goes, right?
True - Blur (or whoever made this trailer) will have been given very limited info.

I think it would be great if it starts out with the reapers attacking earth - but ultimately, by the end of the game, the stakes are all galactic civilisation not just Earth. That's been the premise from the 1st game.

That WOULD be interesting. Have no perfect ending...
The only problem I would have with that outcome is the system of Paragon and Renegade itself. Paragon is supposed to be saving everyone, while Renegade would only be saving humanity or yourself. What I'm hearing is if you're Paragon, you save the aliens only - and if you're Renegade, you save humans only.
I'm sure there are those that want to save ALL species - it would just take some work to decide, but VERY difficult. Kind of the same way in ME 2, which was used to save all of your squad members.

Sorry to bust your dreams of having some handsome wimp voicing the sniper, but it's definitely Ray Winstone voice. This bad mofo of many movies is well suited for the job.

oh dear lord, please
That is NOT Ray Winstone >.<
Winstone = ultimate gangster cockney

Great story, great gameplay, great characters and two friends with one thing in common...Mass Effect!
it sounds so epic, probably wont happen. But I have big hopes!
And Mr.Rambo in big ben, could he possibly be the next guy to follow when Shepards story ends?

Well he didn't exactly fit as some scandinavian hero, but he did a good job in Beowulf.

The voice in the trailer doesn't even have the slightest inflection of Winstone though. Pegg, I can hear some of that. Armitage, I can hear that too. I couldn't really pin it down to either of them. But Winstone? Not a chance.

That the Enemy will threaten our existence? And stopping them depends on Shepard and his allies?
Well, that was surprising.

See, I don't hear Sean Bean either. But then I always expect him to sound like he's doing Jolie Richardson up against a tree in Lady Chatterley >.<

What do you think? Are Reaper attacking other planets?
And I hope, there will by some epic, heroic and sad ending, when the whole Normady crew including Shepard will die.

So where should the final battle be? The citatdel? We have done that already in the first game. Another aliens planet? How would that work if the main character is a Human and Earth is being attacked as well?Antidarra wrote...
I just hope that our final ME3 mission won't take place on Earth. Don't you think that's kinda annoying? We try to rescue galaxy in ME1, human colonies in ME2 and Earth in ME3. So what? If we get the ME4 (I know it's a trilogy) we will try to rescue a city, country, nation?

Im not convinced the goal of the Reapers is to wipe out Earth completly. They were landing in London, not carpet bombing the place! Plus the population in the ME codex of Earth is somewhere around 11 billion. 7 million day one casulties are very low indeed if exterminating Earth was their goal.

So... I hoped the trailer will be much longer and contain more information about game. Despite it, this trailer is mind blowing. Destroyed London and entire Earth by Reapers, BUT, the narrator tells, that 9 millions died in the first week of attack. Isn´t it little number for alien, mechanic race, which is nearly indestructible? Or are they just destroying our defence forces and they will transform us into another gigantic Reaper?

If you pick apart the words, the 9 million is London alone, and even then the Reapers are probably pulling some punches. And yes they want to capture some humans, so really if they wanted to destroy everything, it would've probably happened already. And I imagine if they had the reapers attack all the homeworlds at the same time, it would make for some good story. Just hoping the writers at BW have already realized this.

As its been said before, the 9 million is just London. As of 2010, London has a population around 7,500,000. Now lets say the population of London in the future is 16 million, that would leave it a population of 7 million after a week of attacks.LGST wrote...

With everyone speculating what the reaper ground forces will be and why they're attacking earth, maybe the trailer kinda speaks to both issues. Reapers went to earth first to convert the population to serve as their ground troops and pacify a major military power. The seeker clouds used in ME2 to collect humans could easily be repurposed to implant humans with reaper nanites.
Its going to be real interesting to see whether or not some of the people we encounter in the game are actually indoctrnated "sleeper agents" that will betray us to the machines.
Also, I want to also see the process that turned Grayson into a Reaper slave be implimented somehow here, whether or not we come into contact with someone, or we become one to somehow beat the Reapers at their own game.
