OK...just listened to clips of Pegg and Bean...then watched the teaser again - Bean definetly sounds closer by my ears.
Pegg already said it wasn't him on his twitter, saying "All us brits sound alike. All you humans are nationalists!"

For something new...what surprises me the most about the trailer is the sniper's absolute lack of any knowledge of what a "Reaper" is...I mean if any galactic society would be informed of what a "Reaper" or "Saren's Flagship" looked like...you would think that it would be humanity. But his lack of understanding seems to suggest that the people of earth have not been informed of galactic events - is this possible?
Good point. But if I remember correctly both the human and the alien council continue to dismiss the reapers as myth in ME2. For the puplic the citadel incident was still a geth attack.
If that was the case and Earth was just misinformed...wouldn't the line be, "Don't know why the Geth are here, or how they got past all of the galactic defenses"...not, "Don't know what they are or where they came from"?
There should at least be the recognition that these vessels are similar to the ship that led the assualt on the Citadel...or am I just looking at this wrong?

I didn't think that it was Pegg...good to know that we can cross one name off the list. I am hoping that it is Bean, loved what he has done in films...he does a great job being able to being charming one second and then a complete *** the next...would be a perfect voice talent for the game.

Right they should have at least known those ships look exactly like Sovereign. I guess there should hve pictures of the ship on earth news.
Maybe he has simply been sitting in Big Ben for too long, eating dovemeat and having this ringing in his ears every full hour. Can't blame him for losing his mind then.

Simon Pegg said on his twitter that it's not him. Although Simon Pegg does occasionally do an impression that sounds very similar (like when he's shooting zombies in his flat in that episode of "spaced"). It's funny Bean has the right pitch, but he's got a sheffield accent - Simon Pegg has the right accent, but he hardly ever does his cheesey deep voice
Who voiced SniperBen is really hard to answer. They could have done anything with the voice in the production studio. Pitched it up or down, sped it up or slowed it down, who knows...

Wasn't the face modeled on Vinnie Jones?
The voice sounds damn close to his, so that combined with the face.... I'd say Vinnie's in ME3 if it was his voice.
Gotta admit though, seeing those Reapers in London alone.... Two words uttered from my mouth -"Oh f***".

You're assuming they didn't figure out really fast that these ships weren't Geth, not just by the numbers, but by the husks swarming all over, or any number of other possibilities. Maybe the Reapers are going all harbringer and screaming about being the Heralds of out Ascension.

Seriously, when the entire galaxy is at stake, I hope BioWare doesn't decide to be sneaky sneaky about it.
By the way--we know it's not Simon Pegg, he told us so in his Twitter.

I find little reasons for some of the criticism I have been reading in this thread. Assuming we are going to beat the reapers or at least disrupt the cycle, it's obvious that the reapers cannot wipe out a planet in a heartbeat. Personally, I would hate to see the whole galaxy defenseless against the reapers and then single-handedly saved by Shepard. Everything Shepard did in the first two games must have been worth something. In particular Shepard prevented the reapers from stabbing us in the back, discovered their plan, disrupted the construction of the human reaper, allowed us to get some intelligence on their technology and ultimately bought us time. Therefore, I expect the galaxy to be prepared and to be able to hold - at least for a brief time - against the reapers. It might still be a desperate situation, but not so desperate the reapers can destroy the whole population of a planet in a single week. Remember that we don't know how far in the future ME3 is set. Humanity and the other races might have plenty of time to prepare. Also, history tells us that war greatly speeds up technological development. Just think at what happened during WW2.

Im actually annoyed that in the trailer, the incisor was a single shot rifle when its a triple shot rifle.
