As for my reactions to the trailer.

I know i'll have to wait for the game to come out to know for certain, but why and how did the Reapers head straight for earth, the Local Cluster is on the other side of the galaxy to where the Reapers are ( isn't it? ) so how were they not noticed.

But then I can just see it now.

"Reapers heading toward Alliance space? We have dismissed these claims"

Personally, I reckon unless there's a stupid War of the worlds-esq twist at the end, where all the reapers die of a flu bug, then the Earth is screwed. The Prothians were light years ahead of current Citadel space technologies and they got rammed up the backside.

Hope i'm wrong and the ending turns out to be awsome, but going off the ending to ME2, I have a few doubts.

I am sure everyone noticed how relaxed Shep was watching the Earth burning below. Since it is a choice based game, I wonder if you get to choose or not choose to save Earth. I would like to see something like that, where it is clear that you are only one man and that not all planets/species can be saved if attacked at the same time. A nice little twist with major consequences.

I love the trailer but one thing that i don't get is why is it that the sinper doesn't recognition that these vessels are exactly like Sovereign the ship that led the assualt on the Citade. Or maybe it was never air on earth TV that would suck big time. can't wait for ME3 now.

Benny does look kinda Statam-ish... but then again Statham looks generic to me. Also he doesn't sound like Bean at all.

Well considering Avina had no info on Reapers, its understandable to assume that no one except Shep and his group knows what a Reaper is or that Sovereign was a Reaper. And I doubt that there is surviving footage of Saren's attack since there was a massive cover up afterwards.

I think it might be Sam Worthington too(^^whoever said that thanks), he just did the voice for Black Ops as Mason so he's into game voice acting. It looks kinda like him, slightly different but alike. And listening to his voice he sounds alike to me, has the right tone! What i think anyway.

Yeah, those numbers don't impress me either. We're talking about an alien species that has wiped out every singles lifeform in the Univrse several times in a row so why is it taking so long to kill 9 million people. The Reapers also look a lot smaller than I thought they would be, Soveriegn was about a 3rd of the size of the Citadel and yet these Reapers that are attacking London are only a few 3 or 4 times the height of the London Eye ( or whatever it's called now ).

Still, despite my nitpicking I am physched for ME3. The trailor certainly sets the mood for ME3. It's nice that we get to see earth but I would also like to visit some alien worlds in ME3. I would alos like to see or at least know that Earth isn't the only planet that is being attacked by the Reapers.

Mass Effect 1: "We have to stop the Reapers coming into the galaxy!"
Mass Effect 2: "We have to stop the agents of the Reapers from letting them return to the galaxy!"
Mass Effect 3: "Oh, well they just flew here, they didn't need to use the Citadel at all. And it only took like a few years so if they'd left at the end of ME1 they would have been here by ME2, and if they'd left like 1000 years ago when the Rachni wars failed for them, they would have been here before humans invented steam power."

I"m guessing that this Guy from trailer will playable character if Shepard dies during suicide mission.

No, if Shepard died on the suicide mission you CANNOT IMPORT THAT SAVE INTO ME3. This has been confirmed, and it also says so during loading screens in ME2.

No, if Shepard died on the suicide mission you CANNOT IMPORT THAT SAVE INTO ME3. This has been confirmed, and it also says so during loading screens in ME2.

He could be the default character from ME3. You wouldn't have to import your save, it could just be the character you play as when you start a new game. But no I don't think you'll play as this guy.

Maybe they killed 9 million people in London, he did say there were other reports of other cities after saying the number so he probably was talking about Londons death count and not Earths overall death count. Wonder how he knew how mant died anyway, doubt there they had any down time to spend to do a headcount.

As its been said before, the 9 million is just London. As of 2010,
London has a population around 7,500,000. Now lets say the population of
London in the future is 16 million, that would leave it  a population
of 7 million after a week of attacks.

I don't know about ME's story right now. If the Reapers were able to just fly there within a few years then it defeats the purpose of the Conduit, the Collectors, basically everything. However, there could be some plot twist that would explain some new tech or something.

Also, aren't Reapers dreadnoughts? I thought dreadnought fire could destroy like an entire planet with its main gun?



Sovereign almost destroyed the entire Citadel fleet. I don't know how big Earth's fleet is compared to the Citadel's but unless the Reapers used a ton of energy to get to Earth, it seems like they would've destroyed Earth by now.
