I dunno, he seems like a go to guy, If he makes it out of London alive!  

All this closed envelope stuff from Bioware is annoying. I thought we would get some more info after the trailers release. Guess they are waiting till after new year now.

They have DA2 to promote. There is no reason to talk about an unfinished game like ME3 that they are still working on. I imagine we'll hear more info when the game is closer to completion it is the usual policy of game companies to keep quiet on new games until they are closer to release.

And then they'll release a trailer that is full of spoilers <_<

I don't see why this guy can't be a companion, maybe even a love interest of similiar rugged-ness to FemShep? She's had the option of:

Kaidan=First romance option, stand up good guy with less than favorable childhood in ME1/ upset (ex)lover in ME2

Garrus=Starts off jokingly/awkward, becomes serious before the suicide mission (especially if you reject him)

Thane=Serious relationship with slight ties back to his previous wife, may die soon

Jacob=...*resists making the priize comment*Starts off moderately flirtatious and evolves into further sexuality in the final romance scene (even if you first reject him, his 'I love you' comes from left field)



Don't see why its necessary to tear down the hopes of FemShep players to get a guy that exhibits another form of masculinity that the previous LIs may not have? It stands to some reason/hope that they'll have to introduce one or two new companions for ME3 to be able to play as a standalone game anyhow...

Sam Worthington? hmmmm I can slightly hear it. Plus hes an English actor. Although thats only listening to two minutes of the Terminator trailer on youtube.



How about if the sniper is actually an Alliance N7? Be good to see the Alliance specialists in action and learn more about the type of training Shepard got.

Either way.. It would be nice to see him, or somebody like that, as an LI. The whole "Shepard-is-the-only-badass" thing got old for me quick. Besides, real soldiers is sexy.

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions until we get more game info, but I think it would be nice to have a regular badass soldier-dude squad member.  Alliance special ops!  And not some angst ridden sob story, the Reapers killed my wife and son, I'm dying of cancer...by the way I'm in mensa and I'm a biotic!  Real soldiers are sex-ay lol.  I don't even care if he's a LI.

All real soldiers have some issues.. it comes with the territory, but holy jeebus. Most of the crew on ME2 where... insane. (or damn close.) I would LOVE to have just one "down to earth" squad mate in ME3, reguardless if he/she are LIs.

Only an insane person can create awesome potential plots on the basis of absolutely nothing what so ever!! :innocent: 

So my number one idea is that Mr Sniper is actually an N7 operative on a covert ops recon mission in London. The evidence I have to support this is he looks awesome and he is good with a sniper...

If he is a squadmate/LI  it is something you have in common with instantly too. It be good way to discuss Alliance military in further detail and of course the ambigious details of N7 and Special Forces Training.

Second idea, (which is scary) is that once he becomes a squad mate and you trust him he stabs you in the back. We already know from the trailer that the Reapers have been on Earth a week and that they can indoctrinate in short amounts of time. .. eeep!  No I hate that idea already!

He's been an australian since he was two months old. No trace of an english accent left.
Even when he's putting on an american accent, the aussie accent still twangs through.

I still say it's Vinnie Jones in the trailer, and should do the voice in ME3 as well.

Bowler Hat and Derby Hats are the same thing yes, but Derby Hat is the American term for it. And that SHAN'T do for Nigel Fishnchips! Derby Hat (as it's mostly known here in England) is worn by upper class women at Horse Racing events. I can't really see the British Sniper guy wearing this:
