Who is fighting for the Reapers? I doubt we're going to see the Collectors but they do need a foot soldier. I took this screenshot from the trailer.

(Can't get the embedded image to work. Sorry.)

Blurry of course. Should be interesting! What do you guys think?

Highly probable that this was Husk.

Maybe smarter Husks who can use guns, take cover, use tactics, etc.

That would be too much of a stretch. Could be some kind of uplifted creature or something.

I'm inclined to agree. That tango appeared unarmed and more than likely a husk.

Husks with tails? Unless it's a husk of some other alien. I doubt it's human. The movement in the trailer is too lifelike for it to be a mechanical piece like the Praetorian.

Reapers have access to indoctrination. It could be anything.

Also, that's a leg, not a tail. It's falling over after being shot.

Well if they took the time to indoctrinat before hitting earth it could be converted Batarians, humans, or any number of races they may have run into. At this point there are too many possibilities and variables to narrow things down.

You're right. Sorry replayed it in HD and was able to make it out better. I'd agree now, looks like a Husk.

Think they're going to bother harvesting humanity or they're just pissed off now and wanna destroy humanity?

The attacker from the trailer looks like some sort of Husk or possibly just an Indoctrinated civilian gone berserk.

If a single dead Reaper can indoctrinate a ship full of researchers in a few weeks, imagine what kind of indoctrination a bunch of Reapers can carry out en-masse.  What better way to capture specimens than to convert them and have the converts kill anyone who can resist the indoctrination?

I'd say that was an abomination husk, the exploding ones, judging from the darkened look of it. The abominations were blackish while the normal husks were more on the white side.

It looks a little like a Turian to be truthful.

looking at the trailer it was indeed unarmed, only 4 appendages, roughly the same height as any ME Human. However unlike husk it was not as hunched over as a husk as it ran. Also it should be noted in the trailer we were capable of making out the colors and parts of the 3 humans clothing also i will point out the blue lighting on the reapers was also very visible at the end of the trailer >.> Husks glow Blue or Red it moved too swiftly and was too symmetric to be a scion it was not a praetorian. It seemeed as is if though it had incredibly bony hips however, if you note the effect on it's fall or as if it was lightly armored.

My guess is that it was an indoctrinated human or, recalling the look of Sovereign Possessed saren corpse an partially implanted and indoctrinated human or a mobile reaper platform similar to the geth platforms after all each reaper is a nation and probably have some type of mobile platform similar to that of the geth.

Most likely a husk:

2 million dead on the first day, 7 million in the first week?

Where do you think at least some of those bodies went?

I also think we may have to put down indoctrinated members of numerous races.  That would add some difficulty (Vigil said in ME1 that indoctrinated Protheans were basically indistinguishable from un-indoctrinated ones, at least until the indoctrinated ones started betraying their brethren), as well as a heart-wrenching aspect (we're killing what were basically ordinary workaday citizens).

Husks (w/ associated spinoffs like Abominations) and Indoctrinated individuals, there's my votes for the ground enemies we'll face in ME3.  Perhaps we'll fight a Reaper on foot, but I'm hoping we face them in air/space as well.

Definately a husk....they were a sort of Isolated incident.....Humanity doesn't know about them yet as well as the reapers.

Seems like a surprise attack to me....AND, most of the galaxy likely never learned of the impending attack until it was too late judging on teh Brit's words too.

The thing he shot didn't explode and it sure as heck wasn't glowing.  How you could guess at the color of the creature when the entire thing is shrouded in a gray haze is beyond my comprehension...

Also, freeze frame at :33 seconds shows the creature falling and it has a nice outline of 5 distinct fingers on a "human" looking hand.  However, Husks from both ME1 and 2 have very "claw" like hands with fingers that end in "points".

So, this may be a Husk with a minor redesign or it could just be an indoctrinated human.

Nope, 33 seconds: 5 fingers.

something that Paul Grayson was turned into in Mass Effect Retribution. I think...
but not necessarily of human origin. may be some alien species abducted by Reapers before.

Whatever we saw in the trailer was "of human origin".  If you bother to freeze frame after the shot is made and you look at it as it falls, crumpled up, its most definitely "human" or it was.

Like someone's said already, it's either some sort of husk or indoctrinated human. My money is on human, as the blurry figure lacks the lights that a husk has. Scarier that way, anyway.
