Vista 64 service pack 2
8GB RAM
Quad Core 9550 2.83ghz
Nvidia Geforce 285X driver 260.99 (latest)

Okay.  I've played ME before.  The first time everything worked fine.  After playing ME2 I thought I'd replaye ME1.

On exit, I got the BSOD: PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES.  After verifying my drivers were up to date, runing a virus scan, defragmenting (I was desperate Image IPB)  running chckdisk, and turning off UAC (I also tried to run as adminstrator).  I still had the same error.  Finally, I decided to uninstall and re-install.  Hey, that seemed to fix it.  Hooray!

However,  fast-forward a few months and I decided to replay (with a new Shepard) again and I have the same stupid problem.

Why -  after an extended period of not playing - than replaying, do I get this blue screen error?  Is it new drivers?  What is it?!

I guess I wouldn't mind uninstalling/re-installing (YET AGAIN!) but I would prefer to know the cause.  Also, do I have to worry about the 5 (or whatever) limit activation?  Does each time I uninstall/re-install count as another activation?

GRRR!

STOP 0X00000076 PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES (0X0000000000000000, 0XFFFFFA80080F0040, 0X00000000000005FA, 0X0000000000000000)

It also doesn't recognize BDtS, so I'm going to look at that. Then I guess I'll just put the blasted game away (or just unistall it since playing it doesn't seem to be an option).

Remember the old days, when you just needed a disk in the drive to play a game? Ahhh, good times! Image IPB

Edit:  One of the things I lost during the many hard crashes appears to be my saves from Morrowind (which I was replaying).  Yippee!  Image IPB
