I started Caravan Club about 3 days ago, since I enjoye Sheep and Stone so much.  I was not disappointed.  As I suspected, that bastard Samuel wiggled out of the noose and is back at large.  Solace, who I met at the end of S&S, has joined my party after a little sweet talking and Ember and I are getting on quite well.  The roleplay has been fun, which is surprising for me because I'm usually like the action and get a little tired of the roleplay, but CC's roleplay kept things moving and I liked it.  I think one thing that helped was the volume of NPCs.  There are probably about 3 times as many in S&S and they are all convincing and interesting.  I had a little chat with the halfling about local politics, managed to insult the tavern keeper by offering a bribe, and found out lots of little secrets about the town of lakeside and surrounding areas.



Encounters I liked so far:
Meeting the highwaymen.  The archer on the high ground was a nice touch.  They were challenging, but no match for Solace, Ember, and a few sleep spells. 

I'm in the river cave right now.  This is a great adventure.  There are skill checks, other hidden areas, and a pile of beetle rubbish you can sort through and find treasure and, yes, more giant cave beetles.  I like a tough fight, and the beetles deliver.  Considering they have 6 legs, they are surprisingly suceptible to grease spells. 

Great fun so far. 

Also, the bad guy in this adventure seems really bad, a real monster.  Really makes you want to go after him and wreck him.

Nevermind, found it, just had to do an extra round of talking to Ormin, a bit weird since I was supposed to know where they are for quite a while now, but it worked.

Cross-posting here as I'm not sure the vault page for the module gets a lot of eyes on it :

Been playing the 2 modules back to back and enjoying so far, but I seem to be stuck. If somehow could
drop a hint ? :D

How am I supposed to travel to the "RC" ?
(Yes, I know what they are, and have been given ample in-story hints to go look there, just trying not to spoil)
Neither the sign posts or road markers travel points anywhere seem to allow it, and the map from Samuel which I've had in the PC's room from the start doesn't either.

Glad you got it, I have just posted the solution and got bumped by the forum.

This is a bit of a problem I know. The area is not avaialable till this point in the mod for plot reasons.

Hope you are enjoying the mod. I do look at the vault at least once per day and here more times than I should :)

Any more problems either place will solicit a response.
