See what I mean? You're saying the 'mature sensible' people ARE the nerdraging 'fans'. That's EXACTLY what I'm upset about. You make it seem COMPLETELY as if NO ONE is 'mature and sensibe' that's NOT nerdraging.

You really don't know how to read to you....

Yes there ARE people giving good feedback, but they are buried beneth
the nerdraging posts of a lot of the very vocal minority posters here.

In fact the ones who DO give constructive critisicm are very much less
vocal and has already voiced their feedback(myself incuded, i do give
feedback to).

^ I obviously stated that these mature and civilized people do exist. You just want to constantly attack me for whatever reason whether it be a misunderstanding or not.

You DO know that these "nerd raging fans" constantly refer to themselves as "mature and sensible"? When you were referring to the "sensible and mature" community, i thought it was the "other" community, the ones who proclaim themselves to be mature while attacking other people.

There ARE sensible people there who DO give feedback. I just thought that the "sensible and mature" community you were referring to were those lurkers in the dissapointment thread and the ME3 with deeper RPG elements thread(which is rather ironic).

OH WELL IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW HOW THE GAME SHOULD BE MAKE A GAME YOURSELF... lame excuse.

Excuse for what? The reason i say this is due to their attitudes, they were telling bioware how to do their jobs, they were lurking the forums and looking for an opportunity to attack the developers and tell them what a true RPG is and how they screwed up the game and at the same time tell them how to do their jobs.

With this kind of disgusting behaviour, people will obviously tell them 'if you know so much go make the game then'.

"Go make the game then" is bad form because it just the same as saying "If you love it so much, then why don't marry it?" It's just juvenile and contributes nothing to the conversation.

I actually quite liked Final Fantasy XIII...

By far the most terrible game I've played.

Most linear, uninteresting combat system, so much so, I can literally play the game with 1 hand, non-existing story, or whatever there is, they think the player should automatically know what the story is about, every character with a SOB story which is one of the more terrible things about the game, terrible voice acting, and terrible cinematics... Idk how you can make a game's character animation so bad. Funny but true... but... How in the world can you make an unrealistic game... so unrealistic? Lol. Those 'cool' scenes where their inner power comes out when you call for it... it was too horrible to watch. Thank goodness no one seen me play it. I wish I could have liked it because of the level of details was amazing... But it would be hard for me to like another one of their games.

Guys, you'd better stop arguing who is the-best-bioware-fan-in-the-world or you know what could happen to the thread.

It isn't a bad form when one starts telling a company with better game developing experience on how to do their jobs, telling them that they are wrong and what an RPG is.

Its not exactly "go make the game" but "If you know so much better than bioware, why don't you work for them then?"

I never liked Square Enix that much...

Interestingly, FFXIII was the first game Square DID incorporate focus groups of fans, but brought them in way too late in the development cycle to do any good. I've been doing a semester long research project on them and came across that tidbit. I don't recall where however, but I'm pretty sure it was Wada that said it.

Also, Square has become hit or miss for me in the last decade. They used to be great back in the days of FFVI, but less so now. Oh well...everything in cycles.

Actually this is wrong on a couple of points. First they are a Japanese company and the game was a massive success with fans in Japan, got great reviews in the Japanese press (39/40 from famitsu). It was only in western markets that it was seen as having serious flaws.

Secondly they did listen to their fans, they just realised the problems detailed by western testers were unable to be fixed at that stage in development. http://au.ps3.ign.co.../1128521p1.html

You fail to mention that they have still created one of the largest and most popular series of all time, with the exception of a handful of failures.

Basically despite what you might think they are still one of the most respected developers and publishers of all time. Not exactly a story of failure.

Yea, it is my opinion, and I have NO problem at all other people liking it. I mean, like I said, I wish I could like it, because I just hate seeing terrible ideas or games that have so much potential. Many of the games I LOVE have flaws and I can say what's wrong with them too. I'm not saying everyone should believe me that the game is completely crap, just my strong point of view, and maybe, some of it IS partially true in some ways. But hey man, I really like COD Black Ops, and I know MANY things wrong with it, while people absolutely HATE it with a burning passion. I love video games, and just want to make them better by putting my feedback and thoughts.

Funny because before it even came out, many major game reviewers in Japan that usually praise FF, were actually pretty harsh on it too. I remember people even posting that on these forums a little bit before ME2 came out.

I especially love how the director of the game said it's doing bad because Westerners see it as a Western game, not a Japanese game... Hmm... wonder how those Japanese reviewers thought the same thing.

Like I said in last post, some people love games while others completely hate them. But when a LOT of people... no matter what country it's released in... have more negative things than positive... that kind of tells you something.

Haha right. I mean, FFXIII was so terrible, but that doesn't make me completely not want to play another FF game if it's ACTUALLY GOOD. I will just be more catious when buying their games. All those FVI and VII are considered the best, and for present day, looks like poop, I won't mind buying those 2 on my PSP and trying them out.

I did miss that post from the others being posted right after. And since I missed that one and so happen to see the one I quoted you from, that's what I really thought you meant. But either way, yea I agree with you. If THOSE are the people, you thought I was saying are sensible mature, then yea, I would have been completely wrong. And I'm not trying to attack you, like I said, I didn't read your other post so yea...

I'm saying people who DON'T like ME2 and who DO like ME2, and are very mature and constructive with their feedback, BioWare should look at THOSE people's feedback, and see what can work. Of course no company should listen to the nerdraging losers who give ridonkulous feedback from their immature posts.

For one sorry if things started to get hostile and if i didn't make myself clear. Yes i do agree with you about your second post. Bioware should listen to feed back, good constructive feed back.

I mean heck if you've seen the original dissapointment thread and one of smudboys videos, bioware was brutality attacked by the vocal minority and they were relentlssly assaulting any bioware devs that participated in the forums.. well thats why the don't come around much.

Yea, I saw that a LOT of trolls right after ME2 came out... I was pretty shocked how many stupid people can be so immature and unconstructive.

I'm sure as hell we'll be seeing this before and right after ME3 comes out...

But anyways, yea, sorry if I came off as douchy. Just thought you were really trolling.

From my experience here, these are excellent forums (aside from techincal limitations), and I've seen some truely horrendous ones that I don't want to name right now.

Also, I can relate, "trolling" can be tough to identify sometimes, but most forumites that I've seen are genuine around here, that's why I personally rather give the benefit of the doubt and joke around if possible.

:D For a computer there isn't. They adjust the decimal, process the equation as an integer, and stick the decimal back in. ;)
