 WARNING, WALL OF TEXT AHEAD!

Hey forum,

This is my first post to the forum, and let me say that Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are my two favourite games.

One thing that I would like to see tweaked in Mass Effect 3 is the damage an enemy receives from a collision with the environment. What I mean by this is when, for example, an enemy is sent flying through the air by shockwave, and then collides with a wall.

In ME2, aside from LOKI Mechs, most enemies don't receive a whole lot of damage from hitting something. What I would like to see is what ME2 did with the aforementioned LOKI Mechs. When a mech hits the ground or a wall, a part of its body usually breaks off. This could mean a mech would lose its shooting arm, or break its legs leaving it unable to move.

I would like to see this applied to all other enemies in the game. If an organic hits its head on a wall, it should cause some sort of concussive effect, leaving the enemy dazed, unconscious or even dead. If it lands on its arm, the arm should break, and so on for the other limbs.

Also, I would like to see special attacks for your companions.

When Jack is first released from captivity, she unleashes a huge shockwave that takes out several YMIR mechs, and leaves the room in ruins. What happens to this immense power when she enters your party? I understand that for balance purposes, characters cant be THAT overpowered, but i think that each character deserves some kind of unique, incredibly powerful attack.

Kasumi's "shadow strike" (or whatever it's called) is a great example of what I would like to see. Her attack is fairly powerful, and no other character can do it. Jack's power could be a massive shockwave, 30 feet wide and traveling 100 feet forward. The shockwave be equivalent in power to Shepard's heavy shockwave, and would take 5 minutes to cool down.

NOTE: The special attack's cool down time would be different from the cool down time of biotics/tech.

Thane's special attack could be a perfect headshot, like the one the salarian describes during his recruitment mission, in which the victims head "explodes".

I know that's a lot of writing, I appreciate you guys taking the time to read it!

What do you guys think?

Yeah that would certainly be cool. Jack was too underwhelming after her intro.

If each squadmate has a unique power like that (one only they have), it would certainly make it harder to say one is more useful or useless than another,

and this should be excluding any potential bonus powers that Shep might be able learn in ME3.

For sure, I think I used pretty much the same companions throughout the story. Aside from the loyalty missions, there was no reason to change who came with you.
