They started from earth 'cause their reproductive cycle, then probably they'll spread all over the galaxy. In terms of plot makes sense... we'll have to annihalte them now that they're concentred in one place.

The Reapers should be too smart to allow that to happen to them. An army with half of a collective brain divides itself to accomplish different objectives. Clustering all of your forces together makes them easy to wipe out all at once. The Reapers here are putting all of their eggs into one basket as far as we know right now and every good army or fleet knows that will blow up in your face eventually.

My prediction: We'll kill all of the Reapers by causing our sun to supernova with Element Zero, desroying Earth and our solar system in the process.

I can't remember exactly, but does the Citadel control the power to the Mass Relays?

If not, once the Reapers are in range, can't they disable the relays making it next to impossible for anyone to reach Earth, or wherever, in time to rescue them?

Without access to the keepers, the Reapers need direct contact with the Citadel Tower to access the stations systems. Sovreign proved this in ME1. Without A Saren-like infiltrator to prevent the closing of the arms, the repers would  jump into the Serpent Nebula, likely be detected then be stuck outside of a indestructable metal tube as the people on the station close the Wards.

The Citadel is pointless now that they are here.

I only hope Walters doesn't dumb down reapers inteligence even more by attacking only Earth because that would be the dumbest thing to do... I hope that they are spread out in the galaxy and Earth is mentioned only as one of the planets which are under attack since what kind of general would sit on one planet while everyone out there is gathering strenght...

Watch the whole thing take place in London (although that won't happen).

The end of the game is Shepard drinking tea with that guy in the trailer at Buckingham Palace.

London will be to the reapers what Stalingrad was to the Germans

I doubt there will be any tea. :(

It is this kind of OP that makes me want to punch a baby elcor.

You have seen 1 minute of a trailer on ME3 and suddenly the writers are dumbing down the game? Really? Really?

I think this goes for all the other assumptions people have been making as well: 1) ME3 will only be about earth and not the whole galaxy like the rest of the franchise 2) There are others but I'm not going to list them as they won't do anything except make more people worry over nothing

Edit: Thank you kindly Evil Chris, your wisdom and authority have once again brought tranquility to a maeltstrom.

Hey, there are people who played Mass Effect 1 and 2 and never noticed that Shepard is a space marine.

Wooo, is this confirmation that the whole game doesn't revolve around saving Earth, as the game description (not the teaser) implies?

People like to make assumptions. You know that.

Assumption made on previous experience...and don't tell me Harbinger was as bloodcurdling as Sovereign was...they have to regain their former glory as truly formidable and intelligent opponents and not some random one line spouting babblers...

And Chris I said that I HOPE that it WON'T be that way...and that this time around Mr. Walters will read wiki more thoroughly....:innocent:

Given the ****storm that has descened on the forums and the annoying cry babies that have been running rampant? I lived through it all since the release of ME2 teaser trailer nearly two years ago and then the followup to ME2:

- What? What do you mean Ashley, Grunt, Garrus, Tali, Liara, and Kaidan won't be squadmates? I want my blue alien sex! (tear*)
- What? Why are we working with Cerberus? This makes no sense! (shoots self in head)
- What? What do you mean Shepard was brought back with implants? I don't want to play robocop or some sort of scifi zombie!? (eats buckets of ice cream)
- What? Who the hell is the Subject Zero - I don't want a mortal kombat character in my Mass Effect! And that mouth she has? How am I supposed to play without the kids catching on to this increase in cursing?! (goes to church and prays BW will see reason)
- What? How could you lose Wrex for this big dumb meat shield Grunt? (worships shrine of Wrex)
- WTF!?!!?! What are you doing to the RPG elements? Where's the 12 pnt system of skills? Where's charm and intimidate?! Two pistols!?! Two pistols!?!!?!! WTF!?! All the same armor?! You RUINED soldier class!!! (hangs self)
- Heat clips? Heat clips! That's it now its officially a shooter! Stupid Bioware - all EA's fault (changes to lowfat ice cream)
- Only eleven saves? Only eleven saves!?!! That's it I'm wiping my hard drive and starting anew as none of my save imports are good enough for ME2 (what do you mean they fixed it? oh ****!)

Anyway... how low can you bow when a BW official shows up to make sense of things? Cuts down on the freakouts, that's for sure.

Edit: the eleven save one though was pretty rough given it happened over the holidays and BW officials weren't able to respond until they got back from New Years but I do recall Chris logging on and telling us they were working on the problem so again, thank you Chris.

@Aeetos LOL I remember the 11 save one... ouch... dammit why'd you have to bring that one up again, I'd only had just managed to get it out of my head.

But anyway, yup, no doubt from now until next Holiday season we're going to get more of the same.

Ahh well, least it's never dull on the Bioware forums,

*holds aloft his 'Team Bioware' flag with pride*

Edit: @Klimy your Shepard maybe Scruffy the Janitor but mine (not avatar) is Henry the 'mild mannered' janitor...

COULD BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
