Now that the trailer is out of the way...

5. More vehicular exploration and combat.

4. More efficient and less tedious resource mining.

3. On-the-shelf DLC options to those who do not have access to online payment methods, kinda like what Gearbox did with Borderlands (releasing DLC packs [with GOTY editions]).

2. More focus on the central plot, like in Mass Effect 1, and less on the characters like ME2 was.

1. Larger levels as opposed to linear shooting galleries (I really liked  the level designs of the original Mass Effect: while the levels were largely linear, the individual spaces were large enough to allow us to actually do some exploration. Ilos is probably the most striking example of this.

I know my suggestions seem a bit arrogant, but I know BioWare is gonna make it an amazing game nonetheless. What are your top five wishes for ME3? And please, ONLY FIVE ITEMS.

5. Slightly modified cinematics for classes where applicable (See Tela Vasir fall in LotSB with a Biotic)

4. Companions putting on a helmet in the VACUUM OF SPACE.

3. A continuation of Renegade/Paragon interrupts.

2. More fleshed out dialogue with companions.

1. Garrus.

The renegade/paragon interrupts

the return of the mass effect 1 skill system

paragon/renegade actually having a skill like they did in mass effect so i can actually play the game the way i want to.

No more of the Kasumi/Zaeed type conversations(not against the characters but i didn't like the way you had to talk to them)

Wrex as squad mate

Liara as squad mate.

I did a little research and it turns out you can survive while exposed to the vacuum of space. However, you will pass out after 15 seconds, start getting permanent brain damage after a minute, and die after two minutes. Contrary to popular belief you won't freeze to death because there is no temperature in space.

Anyway:

1. More options when levelling up
2. A more detailed upgrade system
3. 1080p Cutscenes. The 720p cutscenes (using in-game graphics) in Mass Effect 2 already look awfully dated
4. Menu shortcuts on PC (press J to open journal)
5. More consistent texture quality. Everything from the neck down was blurry even when the settings were set to the highest.

- class Roleplaying

Have different options for different classes outside of direct combat (also for squad mates).

- Romance Under Fire

Have romances continue outside of the Normandy in the heat of things.

- Mission Objective Options

More ways of completing a mission than dialogue or combat, like stealth or sabotage for example.

- Better Level Layout

The design of the locations is usually magnificent, but the layout of the levels, especially in terms of height differences and structure of mission locations could be a lot better.

- Strategic Dialogue

Make dialogue more about finding the right thing to say instead of just hoping you have sufficient Paragon/Renegade points for charm or intimidation.

Ah, I didn't know that; I thought you'd explode or something. Be that as it may, even if it wouldn't kill them, my squad isn't much use to me passed out or brain damaged. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see that. Maybe they came out from the dark space that was - I dunno - directly perpendicular to plane of the Milky Way at the point containing the solar system. Either that or Mass Relays. The question you're probably asking yourself as well is how the Reapers got to Earth so fast and UNDETECTED.

It's probably gonna be one of the locales that Shepard will visit in ME3. I mean, Shepard has to convince every single galactic civilization that ending the Reaper threat is something in the galaxy's collective interest.

They flew.

how the Reapers got to Earth so fast and UNDETECTED.

Blocking communications and deactivating Mass Relays to prevent transport.

1. Bring back exploration of planets. (but sort of like the overload DLC)

2. Space Combat in a specific mission, like halo reach

3. Return exploration of the citadel, a FUTURISTIC earth (not when destroyed by reapers), other alien home worlds (but more expansive than Tuchanka.

4. Mass effect inventory (looting for guns and armour) but better set up and less tedious.

5. Even more character development, romance, etc

Mass effect for me is about the universe, story and characters. I'm really hoping they focus on those things more because combat it already awesome.

5 - A better alternative to planetary scanning.

4 - Many possible endings... with at least one chance to ends all the saga without tragic losses.

3- Less squadmates but much better developed, especially about dialogues.

2- Me too the "romance under fire" thing.

1- Tali and Garrus both alive and with Shepard till the end of the game, and possibly after.

1. WEAPONS: Shep's gonna need some big guns. And lots of them. Lots and lots of guns.

2. Squad Armors: Garrus walking around in battle damaged armor the entire game made me question his ability to survive the suicide mission, luckily he did, lets get him and the others some new digs in many different varieties.

3. Passive Skills: I'm a skill nut. I like skills. I like increasing them. I'm probably one of the few people in Oblivion to have actually increased Speechcraft and Mercantile (I know who does that?)

4. Hammerhead Upgrades: If the hammerhead is back lets change up its armor and shield leveling. Maybe give it some new weapons to. Or a new vehicle is nice whatever works.

5. Space Battles: I demand an epic cutscene of giant Reaper vs Everyone Else battle that has explosions that put Michael Bay to shame.

I just want three and one is a thing i don't want.

1.- An ending in which Reapers win.
2.- An ending in which Sun explodes and Shepard does the final sacrifice. Destroy Earth to save the Galaxy.

3.- Don't want multiplayer

Other features had been already said.

5. more relationships with other members of the crew, even same sex, they allowed for 2 women why not have garrius and a male shep get close and the end scene is garrius entering sheps room and the door closing and the next scene shepard is in the medlab getting his "special" cream for friction burns LOL, if shep continues his relationship with tali maybe as an ending scene you see tali's face holding either a lil human / Quarian hybrid baby or even tali witha babybump belly,

4. even more upgrades, since you now have a geth squadmate maybe get a ton of geth upgrades from weapons to shielding and maybe even a geth type armour.

3.if you managed to save all your squadmates in the final battle of ME2 maybe jack finally accepts who and what she is and maybe have her a captain of her own ship or even enrolled in militery service

2. an actual space battle where you can control the SR-2/SR-3 firing weapons like the lasrer cannons and missle launchers, or even have a battle on the HULL of the sr-2

1. a shedload more dialog options and a much more indepth interaction in and out of the ship and on and off missions, hell you could even propose to your love intrest in the heat of an epic battle, imagine it, slaughtering masses of enemys while you get on comm's and you say

"sweethart i wonder"

~gun shoots n headshots~

"i was wondering if you..."

~frag grenades tossed over a random wall and a quick rocket launcher firing~

"would you marry me"

~does a leroy jenkins run using everything from pistols to laser guns and rocket launchers~

"well my love if we live do you want to"

picture it tho lol

In addition to what they've already done in ME2, in no particular order:

5. More comprehensive outfits for most of your squadmates... so they aren't naked in space or gunfights. Maybe let them have a few (only a few) customizable armor parts as well.

4. Be able to assign squadmates' skill points "at home" (Normandy, SB base, etc.) outside of char. re-spec'ing. This will save time.

3. Expand on squadmates, skills, equipment, accessories, etc. from ME2 while adding new things. IMHO, the more the merrier, now that the Reapers are here. Cram that Normandy full like a can of sardines.

2. Expand on explorable locations/environments, while keeping at least the level of richness set in ME2 & its major DLC (ex-nay on pointless, bleak, god-forsaken wastes from ME1). Also expand on environmental elements (weather, lighting, shops, NPCs, hazards, etc.) within these spaces. Improve wheeled vehicle handling if applicable.

1. Tie-up all the loose ends and decision points left over from the previous games. Expand on the humor, grit and comraderie that made the ME2 story such a great experience (in spite of the occasional hiccups). Let each possible conclusion, whether for better or worse, have an equal sense of finality.

However, reading some of the info that already is available for ME3, I trust BW to deliver a strong strong product in the end.

Space combat was confirmed to happen SOMEWHERE in the trilogy early on. So if BW sticks to that promise then it should deliver us a pretty elite space combat sequence.
