I don't think Yvonne Strahovski is going to sign on to do the sequel. She seemed pretty creeped out from all the nerdy fanboys drooling over her.

Shepard:Sorry Tali, Miranda's a better piece of *** than you could ever hope to be. Legion, kill Tali and order the fleet to finish off the rest of the Quarians.

5. More & Richer PRG elements.
4.Less Linear missions (as in there being multiple paths to one area and variations, as in the the longer path is easier with more cover but the shorter is faster with stronger enemies and less cover)with more variation in missions (personally loved Kasumi's Loyalty mission so I'd love another espionage/infiltration mission. Hell even a few mission where you don't even need to carry all those guns would be cool).
3. Return of all previous Squad mates if there alive with proper interaction. Also, to go a long with this, the Romance under fire idea is brilliant but I'd also love to see a friendship under fire, I mean, if we're in a bromance with Garrus I'd love to see some dialogue that indicates that where best mates as we mow down tones bad guys. .
2. Grand Epic space battle where we get to direct our fleets and attempt to pick the right choice for the right circumstance with vary results depending on choice (like the suicide mission but on a much grander scale.
1. Interactive and playable prologue where we get to see the future of the galaxy and our friends and loved ones take shape.
I could kiss you but I just washed my face hair.

3. Improved instead of cut features.
4. Female turians.
5. Garrus.

2. Make your loyalty with squad members count. Not just loyalty either- make them act differently if their loyalty mission resulted in a paragon or renegade ending. And make those reactions effect their character as a whole, not just a few dialog options.
3. Improve side missions. Being back the sense of exploration that was in Mass Effect 1, but make the world more than just empty expanses of land. Having side missions akin to BDTS and Overlord would be time-consuming and expensive, but it will go a long way into making the game world feel large, rich, but not empty. best of all, make these missions tie in strongly to the rest of the game.
4. Have a plot that has a sense of urgency, but at the same time doesn't just feel like a series of recruiting mission like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Have it so that if we go to save one world, we may loose another, and we may not even save that world if the army we have created isnt strong enough. Make the game feel like a real battle against the Reapers, not just a series of fetch quest against different factions.
5. Improve the armory system. I understand having squad outfits, but have multiple sets of outfits that each look different than simple color swaps, and give bonuses to certain aspects, so that outfits are more than cosmetic and actually tactical. as far as weapons go, have multiple branches (assault rifle, SMG, shotgun, sniper, pistol, heavy weapon) that each have SEVERAL other weapons choices below them, not just two or three. Think the entire heavy weapon list, if not more, but for every weapon. make choosing weapons a strategic choice, not just a preference. And have ammo powers as mods, so that all classes can upgrade their weapons to fit how they want to play.

4. Even more detailed, epic environments. There were lots of places in ME2, Overlord and LofTSB where the game felt repetitive. Not repetitive as in assets used in one place is used on another, but the same style is too recycled throughout a big area.
3. Much further evolution and development of ME2 combat and enemies. This means a lot of aspects like enemy AI, variations, even more animations, wide variety of distinct enemies etc etc. That is - have loads of variety and being richer. In ME2, after combating enemies for like 60hours, it gets boring when you realize you've been facing so many cookie cutter enemies again and again and again.
2. More and higher quality 'Special Snowflakes' - in combat scenarios, in conversations, in missions.
1. A masterpiece of a story.

More epic space battles

- more RPG elements (and being able to equip squadmates with some ARMOR!)
- A large level taking place inside a human dreadnought. Some eye-candy space battles!
- no more Paragaon/Renegade schtick. Yes to interrupts of all kinds, no to "aligment" tracking. Just cause and consequence.
- Kelly Chambers.

What I want -1) A galactic invasion of the reapers; not just a human-centered one2) A few select ME2 characters to return as squadmates (*cough* Garrus *cough*) 3) Squad banter/interaction 4) Larger emphasis on the main plot 5) A return to the classic Sci-fi roots of ME. ME2 felt to much like a Hollywood blockbuster in my opinion. The universe seemed more...generic this time around.
What I don't want - 1) Multiplayer2) A repeat of the grossly human-centric vibe of ME23) Choosing between ending the game with either pro-alien or pro-human dominance. The option to chose either would be fine, but don't force it on the players. 4) A revival of the uninspired and linear ME2 level-up system. ME's system wasn't perfect either, so I'm hoping for a new system altogether. 5) The current dialogue system. I shouldn't have to adhere strictly to one morality to break up a cat-fight between my crew. Perhaps assigning a separate persuasion skill will help neutral players achieve the same results a pure paragon/renegade character could.
garrus is a must.
mass effect 1 had perfect squad banter/interaction where as it became all interrupted easily in mass effect 2, plus there were only key spots you could only use squad interaction per environment
they should release atleast a few more DLC for mass effect 2 getting more into details of the plot and climax of the reapers and stuff... and new characters.
dude, if they could perfectly blend the feel of a blockbuster movie like mass effect 2, with the story molding of mass effect 1... mass effect 3 would be total awesomeness.

c) justified plot. Not "all Reapers are attacking Earth and will leave if found out humans won't surrender"
d) persuasion system separated from morality
e) epic conclusions which, again, depends on previous decisions. And my special request - not something like vanilla Fallout 3 ending.

2. Squadmates. I kept my team alive in ME2 for a reason i like my team. No need to get rid of them and bring in a bunch of new characters that we don't care about. Do not remove the squad from ME2 for why see point #1
3. Put some of the RPG elements back in. Okay so we have too many in ME1 and in ME2 they rip everything out. We can;t win. I'd like some customisation of my Shepards attributes beyond combat abilities. The inventory can stay gone though.
4. Multiple and customisable outfits for Shepard and team. Why not let us buy clothes and armor? Give us more customisaton options. It's not essential but makes the experience more fun i liked the cabin customisation features and we had some customisation of wardrobe but it could be expanded.
5. Better dialogue trees. Especially with LI's it seemed like if you don't romance them the conversation dies very quickly. In DA you still got lots of dialogue and could become friends with the character and still learn personal things. In ME you tended to get shoved off if you showed no interest. Also for Romances i'd hope it's less cliche and just focused on getting them into bed then all dialogue ends. I know it's limited to how much dialogue they can record but we could have some more post bedding chats it feels like once you get the achievement you are expected not to card about romanceable characters anymore.
5. More interesting boss battles. LotSB had way more interesting boss battles than anything in ME2 can we have more than a souped up regular elite troop for a boss?

2) No more mission reports. I'd rather get exp each time I kill something like in ME1
3) More skill choices when levelling and a higher level cap (ME2 was too simple.)
4) More freedom in missions / larger missions. This also links in with 'bigger base planets!' The Citadel in ME1 was huge. Citadel in 2 (also Illium and Omega) were quite small. I'd like to see some larger areas.
5) Free roam after the main story, ME2 style. If it's possible to survive, of course. It would be nice if they still gave us some DLC extras even though the main story will be finished. (Though I still hope they will decide Mass Effect can be a fake trilogy. Heh.)

1. Return of all love interests in a large, important manner. Obviously not all of them can be squadmates, but they'd better be around a lot if you romanced them. Kaidan/Ashley, though, should most definitely be squadmates.
2. Female aliens. Turians especially, but also volus, elcor, krogan, salarians, and batarians.
3. Armor on each and every squadmate. And I mean real armor. No exposed cleavage, no eye-exposing bubble masks. Also, no high heels--give me a break. No spandex. Just real, awesome, customizeable armor just like Shepard gets.
4. Choices from ME1 and ME2 actually have some kind of impact beyond a news story.
5. Squad banter a la Dragon Age. These people do realize that the other squad members exist, y'know...they've got to have some interactions with them sometime.
This. A thousand times this.
Especially agree with the third idea. Miranda would NOT have survived wearing a spandex catsuit and high heels. She had nothing to protect her vital organs and fighting in stilettos? Yeah, real authentic. Compare that to, say, a female soldier and it's hilarity.

2) More choices in customization overall. At the very least, ability to customize armor for squadmates. Meaningful upgrades on armor parts.
3) Non-linear, meaningful planet exploration, Overlord did a semi-decent job, expand on it.
4) Side missions that follow mini story arcs and have impact on the main missions.
5) Multiple endings depending on a variety of gameplay variables including choices in ME1 and ME2.

-Have sinks be stand alone each, you could use just one sink the entire map if you wish, but the drawback is to let it cooldown. etc this has been explained many times elsewhere.
2nd.Inventory system back, streamlined, smart efficient... for god sakes there are HUNDREDS of games that you can see with this. ALl ME1 needed were tabs... anyone ever heard of folders??
3rd. Make inventory system dynamic fun, army of two, both versions are the best example, you could mofidy a weapon to be a freacking hybrid.
-PS: MAKE WEAPONS different, dont have human rifles and turians rifles look the same, change the grip, both speciies have different fingers, change the stock, muzzle. Show the difference of species.
PS: armors for everyone, cuztomize, this is an RPG, dont forget that.
4th.Open exploration a bit more than ME1. ME2 went back too much, bring back the mako, in specific missions, hell of a lot better than scanning for god sakes.
Best idea I can give you. have the mako be able to drop anywere you want, bring back the EXACT same thing from ME1. but if we just wnat to go in burn in through atmosphere and drop on top of enemy held fort, we can. If we dont want to take 10 minutes getting there dont make us.
Now if we drop on top of a fort have AA guns... so if we risk it we might not arrive. Idea from Section 8... easily done. no need for gameplay invlve, just have a small menu with statistics
Enemy defense strength x%
Enemy AA : x %
Risk of death from drop: x% the farther away from the base it will eventually get to 100% survival.
No need to show a scenematic... unless you want to... I want to though
5th: delayed death system. Have something out of star wars republic commando, or army of two, if your shields go down and hp too, have shep down, friendlies come and drag you out, if you dont sart shooting the the pistol you dont get attention to yourself.
Coop maybe for this? BUT if your going to do coop it HAS TO, is not an option, has to be 3 player coop... odd number, but perfectly suited for mass effect franchise, and it you pull it off, you'll make a title unlike most others.
Plenty of games everywhere, plenty
