1) Significant consequences for major choices from ME1 and ME2. And balanced consequences. Paragons shouldn't have everything work out in a nice little package, and Renegades shouldn't create some ****-hole universe. Preferably, most decisions have a good and a bad side. Destroying the Collector Base may keep Cerberus from a take-over, for instance, but also mean a more difficult battle with the Reapers ending in more casualties. We've made a lot of huge choices in the last two games, time to see the result of them!

2) The majority of the old teams coming back. Don't shoehorn them all into NPC roles. We spent most of ME2 building a team. We shouldn't lose them right away. And our old favorites from ME1 should be back in significant capacities as well.

3) More main story, less sidequests. I friggin' hate side-quests. And if the story ends up being a race against time type story, it doesn't make sense to be going gallivanting throughout the universe doing little side missions.

4) More squad banter / dialogue. I want to see more relationships form between squadmates - both friendships and rivalries. I'm tired of them almost always just talking to Shepard. I want this to be a team, where every member knows the others. Not where it's just a bunch of individuals linked together only by Shepard.

5) An epic end to Shepard's story. Easier said than done, I suppose!

5.Deep RPG elements, yet solid shooting mechanics

4. More powerful biotic attacks. I want to only use push and pull in a level.

3.Some sort of a looting mechanics.

2. Deep customizations

1. Some sort of bonus missions for ME2 squad mates. You can't really have them as squad mates in ME3 since they can die. Sort of like the loyalty missions.

1. The one big addition that I want in ME3 is when playing as a Biotic, I want more power, more control. I want to be able to use my powers to their fullest extent. Shepard is the hero of the entire galaxy, therefor I feel that if your playing as a biotic, his biotic powers should be second to none. A small tweak that could help with this is just adding more impact, more force, or more "ooomph" to the powers. Its not very rewarding to use throw on an enemy just to see him die from lightly touching a wall. If he bounced off the wall, maybe the wall breaks apart a little bit, maybe some extra sound effects to go along with it, I feel that would be visibly rewarding to the player.

As far as new powers go, maybe be able to move/throw objects from a distance, or use the environment (walls or ceilings) for more damage. Or use the biotic energy in a more "hand to hand combat" style, such as in the fight between Samara and Morinth. For example, there could be a power that lasts maybe 15 or 20 seconds that gives Shepard a biotic barrier and allows him to get up close to an enemy without taking much damage and then he does a biotic powered punching combo.

The long range powers like throw, warp, pull, singularity, ect. are all great and should absolutely stay in for ME3, but I really just want to unleash the full potential of biotic abilities, and maybe just tweaking the presentation of those powers may really help the experience.

2. More RPG elements, such as possibly picking up items from dead enemies. Use a skill/leveling up system similar to ME1, with more options, more powers, a skill for each weapon, ect.

3. Multiple ways to accomplish one mission. For example, one of my big concerns is that if you decided to become involved with someone in ME2, and you were previously dating an alliance officer in ME1, that trying to recruit the alliance in ME3 may be impossible because you could potentially be on bad terms with Ashley/Kaiden, therefor they wont help you. I think that if this is true, it should only be a roadblock, but ultimately, you can still recruit their help, maybe by completing a few missions to gain the Alliances favor.

4. Multiple comprehensive endings. AKA- Reapers win, Shepard wins at heavy cost, and if you do everything right, Shepard wins without a large amount of casualties. I loved how in ME2, if you made all the right decisions in upgrading your ship and your squadmates, and then in the final battle, you chose the right people for each position, you and your team have relatively no loses. I LOVE this and think that it absolutely should be back for ME3. It is a great reward to see that you made the right decisions.

5. A final confrontation with the illusive man, whether it be a fight, or an discussion, or both depending on where you want to take it. But I think coming face to face with the illusive man would be something special.

ME1 was like that in many ways, btw. So was ME2 in some missions (e.g. Derelict Collector Vessel). But yes, I wholeheartedly agree. And I also don't want new squadmates. I just hope BioWare would focus more on the story and the already-existent characters as they are.

1. Wrex as a squad-mate.

2. More customisation; specifically weapons. I miss the ammo/modding system of Mass Effect 1, and I'd love to be able to personalise my weaponry. A system similar to that of the armour customisation in ME2 would be perfect.

3. Following on from 2, I'd like to see weapons and armour have a greater effect. The armour in ME2 was handled in a pretty problematic fashion. Most if it had such insignificant effects that it rendered most pieces useless. I'd like to see armour actually DO something in ME3. I liked that the weaponry wasn't reduced to the same state. I actually liked that weapon statistics were hidden, so that weapon choices were made by situations at hand and preference, rather than statistics alone.

4. Greater impact of our choices and personal history. I think Bioware failed in this aspect when it came to Cerberus. If one, for example, was a sole survivor who'd spent a lot of time in ME1 destroying Cerberus bases, killing Cerberus personnel and having a major problem with Cerberus' methods and ideology it was pretty much ignored in ME2 and you were forced to serve with them and like it.

5. Greater degree of choices and more distinction with morality. Here's the thing. I roleplay my Shepard as mostly a Renegade, characterising him as someone who generally 'does what it takes to get the job done'. Bioware seems to handle Renegades as bigoted, pro-human, homicidal narcissists who don't know how to play nice with the other children. This is where we differ in opinion. I released the Rachni queen, I let Wrex live, and I concentrated on Sovereign, not because I wanted the council dead, but because if Sovereign wasn't stopped then the particular shape and form of the democratic leadership of the galaxy wouldn't really be an issue. My conception of a Renegade Shepard tries to help as many people as possible, but while trying to retain the scope of the mission at hand. This is why the end choice of ME2 never sits right with me. I'm forced to go with the Paragon option simply because I don't like the people I'm forced to side with when choosing Renegade. There really should have been more options here for what seemed like such a momentous choice.

I'd like there to be more complexity than a simple dichotomy between hard headed, ruthless **** Renegade, and bunny loving, kind hearted, naive Paragon.

Above all, I would like to see someone from ME1 return that's not Garrus and Tali. I love 'em, but I can go on without them in my squad. Again.

1. Ashley needs to come back. A proper role, no cameo, she needs to be distinct from Kaiden, none of that stupid 'indoctrinated reaper clone' BS and she needs to be true to her original character, not made into a stereotypical racist just because that's how the dimwitted fools of the web see her.

2. There had better be a way to defeat the Reapers without the Collector base. If I find out that you tricked me there will be hell to pay.

3. Longer and more indepth conversation trees.

4. Wrex needs to return for the final battle.

5. Finally, it needs to have a feeling of 'bigness', that's something Mass Effect 2 kind of lacked, there were moments true but otherwise the Collectors were small fry compared to Soveriegn. What I'm saying is there need to be giant Reaper fleets crossing the galaxy and huge epic fleets going into war. This needs to feel like it really is the great final battle.

1) More Liara. Please don't kill her either.

2) The No Helmet option

3) Ability to max out your powers completely, with more team powers as the crew would only have 3 powers.

4) More exploration in Cities and possibly even more cities. Notice how large the Citadel was in Me1 versus ME2

5) Being able to control the Vanguard charge, not just at an enemy but anywhere within the level that my reticle is on.

Bonus. This is part of what I posted on the year and half post. This is what I suggest for the dialogue option

"The biggest blower was trying to figure out the teammate loyalty thing. I figured it out, but as for me, I tried to keep my responses as true to what I really thought. With this new system there were times where I'd say things JUST to get paragon points. For example, doing Garus' loyalty mission I stopped him from shooting Harkin (?). In real life I'd have no problem of letting one of my crew members shoot at the dude that just tried to kill us lol."

I put this here because I wasn't sure if it was seen and I'd hate for it to disappear in the sea of forgotten ME3 suggestions.

Thank you taking our suggestions. Much appreciated. Good luck on the game.

One more thing, categorizing my saves so when I look on there I know exactly which game I'm playing. I'd have 2-3 different games and I wouldn't know which one was which. Having some details such as difficulty, who I romanced, paragon/renegade along with class, and whether it was a 2nd or 3rd play through , an import etc.

Thanks

1: Control fleets: Where should your fleets go, Palaven, Thessia. Where should the Normandy go. Palaven, Thessia. Going alone means you can sneak in undetected and sneak in to help the defense but you may lose alot but less if you had followed and helped the fleet. In return if leaving the fleet they will suffer more casualties.

2: Squaddies have a more central role. If Tali was not exiled she was a nominee for admiral. This may help you and give Tali a important role to play. Same goes for Wrex and Grunt (if alive) etc.

3. Possibility to uplift the Krogan once again, bring the Rachni back and start or end a war between the Geth-Quarians.

4. Hackett and Arcturus

5. Many endings

1. Rachni turned into humanoid race and a member put on team( Queen said she would return, if made humanoid, and romance compatible, would make me so much happier.) Their an insect like race so BW can have it make complete and total sense.

2. Branch outside of just Biotic lore(Biotic experiments, Biotic training, Biotic attacks, Biotic based missions etc) Add other elements such as genetics, or element fusing.

3. More movement options( In the ME2 trailer Thane was flipping over people, I understand why it's showed but can we get some more movement options, a light jump maybe a dive,a roll into cover zones.)

4. More than just one romance scene right before the final mission.( I'm pretty sure there's more going on during the quiet times on the ship)

5. Allow certain missions to be played with other squad members. Or DLC's simply to play as different characters.
