1. good story (good pacing, more focused etc.)
2. good dialogues (well written, voiced and animated)
3. good combat (ME2 is good, but its not yet there with the top TPS games)
4. Rana Thanoptis working for Urdnot
5. Destiny Ascension to kick some serious reaper ***

man, do I hate other peoples ideas ... Mako? Uncharted worlds? Decontamination? hell, I would keep even the mission complete...

In no particular order:

- Our Shep doesn't magically forget her/his class during cutscenes. (like, oh, I don't know, softening a fall with your biotics should you be one while chasing a certain vanguard....)

- no "Mission Complete" screen, and the return of the decontamination sequence before boarding the normandy. Basically, back to the old Mass1 system.

- Companions wearing body armor while in combat. (More akin to Mass1)

- More squad powers (basically our companions only have two offensive powers as it stands right now... it's too little).

- Weapon customization options (à la Dead Space 1 would be awesome) along with more modular armor pieces.

All else, like plot, character development, party banter, comedy... LotSB basically hit the nail in the head, so I have the utmost trust in BioWare and therefore do not request anything in particular.

1. For the love of god, Bioware, please, please fix the collision problems. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to get stuck in the architecture while in the middle of a firefight. Or anywhere else, for that matter. I hate having to reload a save because my character's floating in midair and can't get down.

2. On the same note, texture glitches. I will love you forever if these get fixed.

A good example of said glitches would me in ME2, on the Presidium, when Shepard goes to talk to Anderson for the first time. The flickering white gaps in Udina's head (and Anderson's head, and Shepard's head) were particularly jarring, especially when compared with how fantastic the graphics usually are.

3. Separate movement animations for Male and Female Shepards, a la ME1. It's been asked for so many times, I doubt I really have to reiterate the reasons here.

4. More roleplay-oriented side quests (again, a la ME1). The quests in ME2, with maybe two sentences of dialogue at most (with the rest of the quest being *POW POW POW* *OBJECTIVE* *okay there's nothing more to do here let's go*), got very old, very fast. Maybe it's just me, of course -I've never really been partial to shooters- but story and characters are what Bioware does so well. There should be more chances for that work to shine.

5. Please, I'm begging you, no multiplayer. You have no idea how lousy my internet connection is, and if I can't play the final installment as a result, I will cry. ;3;

Please.

Please?

1. Indoctrination - from the player's perspective. Seeing how Shepard will possibly spend a lot of time around Reaper tech...

2. The Citadel core and whatever secrets lie within.

3. Background action. I'd like to see that Shepard's not the only one fighting. In ME und ME2, all you got during Virmire/suicide mission were occasional radio comments.

4. More armor customization options for Shepard as well as squadmates. And, in the latter case, actual armor, no high heels, belt bras or anything else like that.

5. I dunno, maybe a world that changes to reflect the state of the Reaper invasion? Say, businesses on the Citadel/elsewhere closing, people preparing to leave for worlds that are further away from the threat, refugees arriving etc. after major assignments.

For me: since its obvious that we'll probably be recruiting the races of the galaxy to fight off the reapers I want to be able to have a way to recruit ALL of them and not be forced to choose one over the other. Like being forced to choose the Quarians or the Geth. Or forced to choose either the Krogon or the Rachni. I've been working with my Shepard to be able to try and get ALL of them together. Pleased don't take that away from me.

1. Diversity, EG: alien females, buff salarians, volus merc etc.

2. Ability to actually be really tough and blunt or really nice and caring. EG: when miranda tries to tell you what to do, option to say "learn your place ****!" instead of "I'm the captain" because that's not renegade, that's timid.

3. More guns and they should actually feel different.

4. Better smoother combat, think GOW, hopefully rock paper scissors doesn't matter so much, maybe a "hardcore(ish)" mode.

5. Good story of course.

This.  This is seriously the only thing I want to see in the next game.

...well, I'd actually like to get some details about who originally created the Reapers.  Where the hell did they come from?  They're machines, so someone had to create them originally.

First, BioWare, thank you thank you thank you for ME2. It was above and beyond what I thought it could be. However, I have one small, very small, area for improvement for ME3 so as to make it the best game ever.

My small complaint/humble request relates to the "feel" of immersion that ran so deep in ME1.  It was this transcending experience that isn't present in ME2 as it was so profoundly in ME1.  I felt much of this enchanting and truly almost euphoric sense of reality in ME1 didn't quite make the transfer over to ME2. Here's how:

1) Bring Back Non-Linear Uncharted Worlds and the MAKO
Much of the "immersion" and non-linear "exploration" that felt so real, epic, awe-inspiring, and truly (if you stopped every now and then while you driving the MAKO over some barren planets) humbling and mystifying was lost from ME1 when the MAKO was out for ME2 and replaced with linear foot exploration (or linear Hammerhead exploration). I loved the fleshed out planets from ME2, it was really cool to see that.  I for one posted constantly about that in the old ME1 forums. However, I guess I never realized that the MAKO and all the copy/paste worlds would be entirely  dropped and replaced with linear exploration.  And now I somewhat regret it, seeing as I truly did love how they offered you incredible views of space, light-years away from earth, that made you reflect on the vastness of space as you looked up at the horizon.  What I wanted was more variety, in addition to the already  awesome barren world space vistas, not that all the barren landscapes be entirely removed.  The Hammerhead did not fill the gap in exploration that I had hoped it would.  I enjoyed Overlord, but Firewalker just plain sucked (even though it was free).

2) Bring Back Elevators and "Decontamination in Progress"
Really, truly, I didn't mind the elevators or having to walk back to the Normandy in ME1 as it made the game feel like you were truly always in it; there were no "discontinuities" in the storyline that loading  screens unfortunately made the ME2 feel less personal.   The "taken outside the movie" kind of feeling crept up more I felt with all the loading screens in ME2, versus ME1 I always felt "in the game/movie."  Don't get me wrong, some of the load screens were pretty cool, being able to see where you were traveling; however, maybe for ME3, have those load screens veryvery intermittently and bring back the elevators. (To all future posters, please don't hurt me for this idea, I promise I am being truly sincere in my requests)

3) Bring Back Status Reports with your Superiors and Remove Emails
Not talking directly to Hackett/the Council like ME1 really made me feel  even less immersed for the things I did in the game. I felt this really  made me think about my decisions, as eventually my superiors would know about it. Versus just receiving an email from TIM, I felt BioWare could  have made it so it would have been neat to hear his voice, and then discuss with the squad about the last mission.  Simply reading the emails is not nearly as entertaining nor as immersive as talking to an NPC as commanding as Admiral Hackett.  I understand VAing is a budget concern, but just reading emails about your decisions from ME1 and ME2 wasn't at all immersive.

4) Remove Mission Complete Screens/End of Mission Reports
After a truly intense moment, emotional or not, they were just jarring, out of place, and felt almost forced. The whole in-game movie experience is lost.  The unique movie feel of a well-immersed experience in a video game that was so transcending in ME1 turned ME2 into a stock FPS with these screens.  If I just want to shoot the hell out of something, I can play COD or Halo, but if I want to be alive in a game, I want to play ME.

5) Bring Back Squad Banter

Simple. It just brings out a sense your squadmates aren't mutes who don't have feelings towards each other.  In ME2, they just seemed like mindless servants obeying orders when you couldn't even have the opportunity to talk to them on a mission or post-mission about your in-game decisions. Granted, I am not ripping on the incredible character development that was present by talking to your squadmates about their personal lives in ME2, but what the mission and what all the squadmates thought of each other?  I loved the banter in LotSB, so please, BW, use this as a model!

All in all, ME2 was absolutely fantastic to play, but I miss the planets and other small things that made ME1 feel so real.  I lost the sense of fascination with an ever expanding, unknown galaxy in which I shaped the fate of all life with my choices.

5. Bad-ass Reaper Tech for Renegades-It's time a renegade decision paid off big time.

4. More Squad Interaction-Maybe some ship scenes like KOTOR 2.

3. More Customization-I wanna color every part of the armor and color the casual attire too.

2. Hard Choices-There's no easy way out. There's no shortcut home.

1. Epic Story With Integrity-Don't lame out and pander to fans just to avoid backlash/controversy.

1. My Team I just spent an entire game building

2. Shadow Broker base as my FOB and my allied commanders there for me to interact with and plan our actions against the reapers

3. Continue the every increasing squad interaction, I know people like to say ME2 had less but if you count up the number of times you talk to and interact with the squad and they do with each other it's much higher. Elevators were the only place ME1 has it beat on interaction

4. Varied and interesting dynamic loading

5. My crew actually doing varying jobs, being able to go to Miranda for mission reports and being able to ask each squad member what they though of the last mission and their opinion on crew members.

1-5. General Hackett

Seriously, I can't be the only one who wants to see what Hackett looks like before the game is over. The one thing I want in ME3 above all else is to have Shepard meet up with him in person.

Hell, his Shadow Broker dossier has an Alliance logo for the picture. I need to know!

1) More vehicular exploration. (Yeah, I liked the Mako)

2) More control of Normandy (though not a space fighter sim)- just more than point A to point B

3) Tali & Ashley (and a couple other characters from ME2)

4)  Better loot (or loot, period)

5)  A reconsideration by BioWare NOT to stop at 3 games.

+ a strong main story
+ many choices without unnecessary limitations
+ party banter! frequent world and dialogue interaction, stuff like this
+ open character customization, no combining unrelated things like weapon damage, health, sprint speed etc. into a single "power" and ofcourse more equipment options that are well balanced
+ realistic and open exploration, meaning practical, yet appealing combat clothing and protection from hazardous environments for everyone and less linear level design with as little loading screens as possible

+ More cool jumping/hiding/shooting

+ Some destroyable houses/trees/ etc. Unreal Engine 3 can handle that quite well...

+ More custom ship (choosing color, seats, etc.)

+ More cinematic trailers and epic speeches from commander Shepard!!!

1: Removable Helmets.
This means like ME1. I MUST have the ability to wear my helmet during combat and remove it for coversations. None of this your helmet is glued to your head until you get back to the Normandy nonsense.

2: Melee based assassin powers for Thane Krios.
Like Kasumi's shadow strike. I can't quite figure out how bioware missed this in ME2. All of Thane's conversations and all information reguarding him present him as the most efficient hand-to-hand assassin in the galaxy, with barely a mention of his having biotics. And yet, in game he has two biotic abilities and a (rather useless imo) ammo power. Now, I find his biotic powers very useful and I can understand that bioware would rather use existing powers than develop new melee powers, but to then reveal Kasumi who has a hand-to-hand assassinate power is just rediculous.

3: Meaningfuly including squad members from ME1 & 2 (if still alive).
While I know it will take massive ammounts of time and effort on bioware's part to make it where, if your squad mates survived in ME2, you can still use them in ME3, I also know it would will be completely lame and unrealilistic for Shepard's newly recruited squad to be absent when it's time to take the fight to the reapers. And I most certainly do NOT want to see garbage like"Oh no! Shepard's entire squad were inside that building that just got hit by a nuke!" That would be so lame I might just drop a nuke on bioware!

4: Meaningfuly including major player decisions from ME1 & 2.
Still kinda mad that bioware auto decided some decisions from ME1.

5: Improved ammo system.
Alright, so I wasn't utterly thrilled with the switch from the overheating weapons mechanic to the heat clip one, but I wasn't overly troubled with it either. While I think it worked quite well and the need to reload felt like a natural substitute for waiting on your weapon to cool down, I have one complaint with it. Maximum clip storage. I'm a sniper by nature and a sniper by trade and I found it annoying and rather absurd that I was forced by the game to leave my cover and scrounge for spare clips or switch to a different gun just because Shepard didn't bring more than 12 clips for the widowmaker. I think bioware should work on some variations to the ammo clip idea in ME3. Like letting you pool your ammo clips from all your guns or mabey keep the reload mechanic while getting rid of the ammo capacity all together. Just as long as I can snipe to my hearts content.

+Squad Interaction This for me means both in the field and off. In the first game I actually enjoyed the elevator conversations and the ability to 'talk' to your teammates. I agree with Garrus, I want to know more about the Quarian immune system XD

+The Squad I understand that it would be difficult/impossible/over-doing-it if you were to bring back everyone from the first and second games but I would very much love to have as many of my squad back as possible. I've become rather attached to Kasumi.

+NPC Interaction/Functions I love both Aria and Joker (and a few other npc's). At least for the bigger ones I'd like to see that they keep/increase their importance in the storyline. When I went to Anderson in the Citadel in ME2 I was kinda disappointed. He was much more interesting in the first game.

+Sniping Basically what Commanderdad10 said. I like to snipe while coordinating how the team should move. Reloading after every shot wasn't fun. Then the sniper rifle from the DLC was nice but the fact that you had to shoot three shots at a time did use ammo pretty fast. Besides the sniper rifle, I was pretty much fine with the new ammo system. Surprised at first then adjusted, then realized that my beloved sniper rifles don't like the new system much.

+AWESOME STORY This, IMO, is probably the easiest for Bioware since I love their story writing. Even though I felt that the second game didn't advance the plot with the reapers too much, the story writing for each character was great. If this is the grand finale of the Shepard adventures, I hope that the story writing makes the last two look bad. XD
