Will anyone else be mad if Bioware decides to erase all your teamates from ME2

For the sake of having bought the first two and carried over 3 campaigns, I'm absolutely going to buy ME3. Being able to play with my favorite squaddies comes second to getting a good story and a final installment of a trilogyArchereon wrote...
Yes. Very. In fact, I might not buy the game.

Garrus and tali are as importants as Shepard.

I know this is a bit over the top, but I agree with it nonetheless. As long as there's Garrus (and another few) in ME3, I won't complain if the rest are missing.
I don't think there's any reason to erase all your companions. Well, maybe not from the start, anyways.

I'm sure they'll play their predictive roles and cameos.

And about Garrus and Tali, where they would go anyway after the events of ME2? If both are alive, it would make most sense if they are part of the starting squad since both are practically standard members of SR2 now. Hell, Tali even took (or forced on, anyway...) Normandys name so Normandy is now her home. Garrus MIGHT try to apply as Spectre as his vigilante career didnt go well, but are new Spectres hired anymore?

It would be if in Return of the Jedi Luke was like, "**** it. I'm not going to save Han; bye everyone!" and goes off to find a new group of people to help him stop the Emperor.

As long as Garrus and Tali are there, it's fine with me.
This. You can eject the rest of the teammates through the airlock for all i care.

If not...then it's all good. If you truly love this game then you will stick with it no matter who's there.
Love you Mass Effect

And replace them with a whole bunch of newbies in ME3 or am I the only one.The trailer for ME 3 looked epic but I will be severely put off if none of the characters you kept alive in ME2 come back.I know 3 people who made 3 different play throughs romancing and staying loyal to the teamates from ME2 and ME1 with the hopes of seeing some sort of outcome in ME3.I am one of those people and I am hoping that people like Miranda, Jack, and Ashley show up in ME3.I believe there is no reason for any of the surviving NPCs from ME2 to leave Shepards side because in ME3 every ones concern should be the Reapers.
Wont happend, ME2 was about recruiting people and make them loyal. ME3 is about kicking some major reaper a**.
So we dont have time to recruit the peeps again.

Incredibly mad. There is no need for it and would make ME3 very similar to ME2. I don't want to spent 2/3's of the game recruiting people to join my team. I did that in the last game i don't want to do it again. Creating a ton of new party members will be an excuse for them to neglect the plot and i don't want to see that. I hope that ME2 and ME3 link together without feeling disjointed. There is no timeskip this time so any possible plot device to remove party members will feel cheap and just an excuse for them to throw new characters at us like they did with DAA. If i kept my whole team alive i want to be rewarded by having them in my team for ME3 otherwise it makes the whole fact they can die a bit of a pointless plot device.
Indeed. It would be a nice change of pace to have a full squad right at the beginning, or atleast within first couple of hours. Missions can be important to the player even if there is no new squadmate involved! Shepard now has squad and perhaps some people from ME1, USE THEM! Now is the time to make Reapers go away. (or whatever the ending will be)
