Hey everyone, I hope someone can help.

I completed ME1 on my original 360, and obviously then purchased ME2 for the same 360 and completed it. After completing ME2, my 360 died. It was a goner, and kept getting the red rings after about 15 minutes of being on. So, I only had enough time to connect a USB drive and transfer all my save files onto the USB drive. I then sold the 360 for parts and purchased a new slim. I re-transferred all my saves onto the new slim (including the ME1 and ME2 saves) and thought I was good to go.

It's only at this point with the announcement of ME3 that I realised about the save game importing. See, the only saves from ME2 I have are AFTER the suicide mission, in which I managed to keep all my team alive and well. I was going to create a save just before the mission, but I never had chance before my 360 died.

So now my question is, am I going to need to complete ME2 from scratch again to go through the suicide mission in order to have a save that I can import into ME3? Or will ME3 pickup the saves that I have, despite the fact that I haven't actually completed the suicide mission on this 360?

Thanks,

Woot

I think you're safe. If you completed the last mission and have a save after that on that playthrough.

I have the save after it, but the last mission was completed on the previous 360, not this one.

Doesn't really matter on which 360 you did it, as long as you have the save files on your new 360 you should be save (you probably also can import your ME1 saves if you put them on your new 360 right?)

Yes I can - but I heard that to import a ME2 save you needed to actually do the suicide mission on that 360 to create a 'completed save'.
