I've got the "Remember Me" box checked, but the site doesn't autolog me in when I come to the forums.  It does this at the vault too.

I've got Windows 7 & Internet Explorer 8, Nortan Antivirus 2011, System Mechanic PCTotalCare 10.x.x

My internet security settings are set to "Medium" for general use of the internet and common sites (unflagged).  How can I fix this?

Thanks.

Uncheck the box.

No. Honest. Uncheck the box and just see what happens.

We've moved to new forums, Y'all. Better, faster, more powerful.

Shah, right.

Nope, didn't work.

I have all the correct boxes checked in the AutoComplete section for internet options too, so I don't know what the problem is.

Yeah, it doesn't autolog me either, but if I don't uncheck the "Remember me" box, it autologs me out as soon as I've logged in. Crazy.

Hmm. Try this. Login, then uncheck the box and cruise the forums. There have been many isolated reports of the "Keep Me Logged In" or "Remember Me" function working in complete reverse. Also, do make sure that if you have recently upgraded your OS or Browser in any way, that you make sure that cookies are enabled (at least for this site) so that those functions can work. The Remember Me function is cookie based and therefore, in case that's an issue, you must allow cookies for this site.

And honestly, who doesn't like coming into this place with a plate full of cookies right there for everyone every time you show up, right?

Having just had to log in again, I remembered a peculiarity about this forum.

When you login, always do it at the top page that you use, e.g. http://social.biowar.../1/subindex/156 or http://social.biowar...m/forum/1/index

If you login at one of the subforums then move up, it won't remember you.
