Visit your mobo manufacturer's website to see how to update your mobo bios. But I doubt it has anything to do. The mobo drivers, including chipset drivers, may have better chance.

none of that helped so i researched some more. apparently the mobo i have EVGA 790i ftw is notorious for gaming crashes and freezes... a fix is to increase some voltages overclocking certain components. i dont know if anyone has a similer mobo or not, but here is where i found the fix. http://www.tomshardw...on-790i-freezes

I have the same problem: the game freeze (sounds and mouse are still OK) and I just have to do ctrl+alt+del to continue to play.
I run windows 7 64 bits pro and drivers are updated.
CPU: Quad core QX9770
2 Go RAM
Asus P5E3 premium (chipset X48)
sound card: Analog device (mobo sound card)
Gforce 8800 GTS 512
A solution ?
