I know the "official" Shepard in the trailers is a white male but I'm pretty sure you can make your shepard any race you want.  That goes for just about any RPG with character customization.

Back to the topic, I'm with the OP on that they could just as easily cut out that last scene where Maleshep is overlooking earth and render Femshep, they won't even need to really put much detail into her face as even Maleshep is mostly just shadowed out of sight.

can you make it an issue on your own thread?  it'd better represent your cause.  you could put something about racism in the title and others who want to discuss that issue with you could do so.  this thread is focusing more on the gender issue.  thank you.

Bioware will keep making trailers with male shep.

John Shepard is the canon. Gamers who didn't play ME know him as Shepard. A male shep is good for the marketing. ectc

It's nt like I am a femShep hater. I have a few myself, but, a femShep trailer makes no sense at all.

@ greedy. This is not a request!... I'm telling you to stay on topic with the femshep trailer or I will ask you to leave. I do not want this thread going into the racial zone. I want it on gender and I want to help support femshep in a very positive way. . Please be contructive in your statements and not race. IF you want to talk about race make your own thread.  If I see it going any other place near race again. I'm going to report you. Thank you for your time.

lol.  the worst is getting cussed out by someone half your age.  i always think to myself, i didn't even know what that word ment when i was that young.

i don't think BW would want to pay for the air time for two seperate trailers.  they have to pay bills too.  i do think it would be nifty if they just did one and posted it on their site.

Back to the subject at hand. It is a good idea for Bioware to help make a good femshep trailer. It tells us they do consider female protagonist and it shows she is just as strong at MAle shepard.
