Hey everybody, got a question. I've played the first two Mass Effect games on the Xbox, but i'm planning on jumping ship and getting Mass Effect 3 for the PC.
I was wondering if there was any kind of save editor or save convertor that lets you convert your Xbox save games into PC save games.
I remember someone made an Xbox save editor, so is it possible for something like this to be done? I'd rather save my cash and ust get ME3 when it's released over buying the first two games over again on the PC (Although i'd probably be waiting for a steam sale or something).
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Possible to use 360 saves for pc ME3 transfer?

That is highly unlikely :-( A savegame editor was made by Gibbed for the PC version, but I not for XBox AFAIK. MassEffect2Saves.com is your best bet if you really want to switch to PC.

Masseffectsaves.com
Various saves ready for import into me1/2/3
No need to sweat the details..just go there look for a save similar to yours and use it.

I believe someone from Bioware confirmed it is impossible to do ME1 Xbox -> ME2 PC.
That does not make it impossible that ME2 XBox -> ME3 PC will be workable, but I really wouldn't count on it. (Also, realize that I am only talking about whether the export file will be compatible. Even if it is, you will have to get it off your XBox and on to your PC somehow. This might actually not be too much trouble if you're using a USB thumb/hard drive, I'm not sure about that. But if you use one of those internal XBox hard drives, that will mean taking it out of the XBox and connecting it inside your PC as a SATA drive.)
If you do want to get the PC versions, I'm guessing the Steam sale this month will indeed be a good thing to wait for. But masseffectsaves.com is definitely a great resource if you just want to get ME3 PC.

Well, moving Mass Effect 2 saves *IS* possible (Xbox 360 > PC and PC > Xbox 360 only, no PS3).
I'm working on it currently. Anyone interested?

Very interesting. If they transfer from ME2 -> ME2 just fine, maybe crossing platforms with ME2 -> ME3 will actually work.
Have you posted the how-to anywhere? I don't have an XBox, but I'm sure there must be others here who'd find it useful.

I'm going to release more detailed info later. It's basically a simple web ME2 save editor with option to convert save file.

A converter would be awesome!
Especially pc->ps3 or even pc->xb360...
No matter what anyone says, using someone elses saved game is just not the same... I love my shepard! It wouldn't feel right. Am I sick? ;-)
