I was wandering about this. I know Bioware has done an exceptional job of building up many characters and making them feel very lifelike, but which has the most realistic and deapthfull emotions, behaviors, etc. ?

I'd have to say Aria. I think they did a really good job of making her out to be what she was- the fd up queen/ dictator of Omega.

I'd say of all the characters Saren.
Of all the squadmates Liara or Garrus.
I find Miranda and Thane to be pretty deep characters as well. Come to think of it all the companions are (except Jacob). Is this a trick question?

Tali would be my choice for the most dynamic character. She seems more fleshed out and viable than some other characters plus I love how she grew up during the events of the first two games. Others that are fantasticlly written and brought to live are Garrus, Illusive Man, Mordin, Jack, hell they are all great so I will just stop listing them now...

Garrus Vakarian.
You know in ME1 how he's relationship with his father is and how he want's to be like him also he has strong morals about Crime, in ME2 we found out he is even more lost in himself.

I would say Mordin.

Mordin, he's far more developed than any other squadmate.

To be honest, you could argue that everyone/anyone has the most depth.
There are compelling arguments for 75% of the characters in the series.

Either the Illusive Man or this guy (probably this guy):

Why? One is secretly trying to save his whole race, the other is secrety trying to wipe out another. Both have to do a lot of evil to achieve a greater good.
Oh, and I'm defining depth as the more you dig, the more you find underneath the surface. In the case of both these guys...there's a whole lot of dead bodies, too.

BTW anyone get the feeling that Mordin's getting on a bit? He's pretty old for a salarian, and ME3 must take place at least a year after ME2 ends... I wonder if he'll die during the last game?

The most developed : Miranda.
Well developed : Mordin, Liara (because of LotSB) and Thane.

Mordin. His dialogues are about the hightest range of situations, from faith to sexual consueloir. He's very endipened.
I'd preferred to say Tali once more, but I'm an objective guy. Maybe in ME3... anyway I consider her the second most well developed. It's not casual that Tali and Mordin dialogues are written by the same author.

Mordin, Samara and Liara. Feels like they have the most depth of all squadmates.

I think Ashley has the most depth, although not my favourite character.

Mordin and Liara.
I also think that Ashley is fantastically well-written, and feel that the manner in which she polarises the playerbase is testament to just how dynamic and nuanced she is.

Eh, it's tough to say. A few months ago I would have said "Tali" without any hesitation, but after playing through the game again (and getting Lair of the Shadow Broker), I'd have to say it's probably an even match between Wrex, Tali, Mordin and Liara.
All of the characters have an astonishing amount of depth (potential exception being Jacob, but I still like him), but those four really go above and beyond. We see all sides of their characters, whether that be a loyal friend, bloodthirsty for revenge, regret over the results of a long-passed decision, or striving for unification.

Tali and Mordin. Those two were obviously given the most attention and it shows for good and bad. After LOTSB add Liara to the list. Other characters were more or less good but all are atleast decent.
