The very final love scene in Mass Effect 3 (you know the one where you pick your ultimate final partner before going off to fight the Reapers) should be long, emotional and be the best video game love scene ever made.

I hope Bioware will do something like it.

Agreed, longer build up to the cutscene is key. Emotional dialogue, maybe Shep even sheds a tear..

I would rather have more about them settling down after the fact, kids if possible.

I agree, the final love scene should have many branches of dialogue, an epic love theme (one that tops reflections and ME1 love theme) and no fade to black.... But that's just me.

A longer romance scene would be nice. Perhaps even meet family?

Whos family?

Mine was killed by slavers and Liara's is half dead. (kinda my fault on the second one, but she helped!)

So that might make it a bit hard...

Blaspemy. Mansheps dont shed tears. They punch holes in walls.

Yes, the love scene should be epic and I would like to see life after the "war"
ME3 is gonna be a **** though because eventually I will have to pick between Liara and Tali. ME2 only delayed the inevitable and LotSB didnt help me either. Posted Image

LotSB DLC has a video of Matriarch Atheda (Illium Bar Asari) looking at a picture that is most definatly Liara. Iam pretty sure she is her other "mother".

I agree with making the love scene before the final battle the best yet.

I'd like there to be post-story free roam though like ME2 so hopefully we don't get killed as part of the ending. Have some post-game dialogue options and maybe a scene or two with the LI. If we get ME3 post-story free roam, all LI's should be either on the ship or in a location where you can visit them. It would be nice if they pulled a Dragon Age: Origins with this. In DA:O, you only get the actual love scene once but you can invite them to your tent any time you want. You just get a scene of them kissing every other time you invite them. It would be good if you could do that with ME3 LI's. Just adds something to the relationship. Makes the game seem less 'I only want you when theres the possibility I will die'.

Death Goggles are 10x more effective than Beer Goggles.

You all are expecting too much. If ME2 is any indication Bioware will make the Romance Scene a One Night Stand again with nothing aftering doing the deed. The days of seeing improvements over the better ME1 Scenes are long gone.

The last romance scene should have atleast 4 explosions.

I hate to say, but after the whole Fox News crap, I'm not holding my breathe for anything beyond what we saw in ME2.

I want BioWare to prove me wrong.

No family thingy, no. I wouldn't mind an option for those who like that kind of thing, but what I want for my personal romance is to avoid all traditional themes by several parsecs.

As for the final scene, I'd prefer one after the end. In style, it would be similar to the one I've posted here.

It should last three hours and take place in the vacuum of space…somehow.

I don't think the scenes in Me2 are that bad, it's just that they feel forced because the whole romance subplot is short. I'd like more build up , longer during and more after. More content of the same caliber would be just fine on my end.

Exactly. I never meant to say they are BAD, but they felt a little too tame and overall short compared to the ME1 romance subplots. Hell, my favorite romance of all time is Thane's, and that's an ME2 romance. But I'm trying to be general here, as I should.

Well, with you being able to choose when you recruit who and many of those who's being LIs Bioware forced themselves in the corner. Which is why Ashley/Kaiden are better developed as a Romance Option since they're there from the beginning and why Liara felt forced and for some reason she loves Shepard at first sight.

What gets me is that Bioware did great with Ashley/Kaiden(Mostly Ashley) but 'really' dropped the ball in fleshing ou a romantic subplot with Miranda and Jacob. Both seem to really just want sex and nothing more even though Bioware had so many chances to develop it differently seeing how they're the starter Squadies.

If anything a Male Shepard has a much stronger connection with Jacob(Bromance) than Femshep whom Jacob consideres himself 'good enough' for(Yet he doesn't believe he deserves Miranda) and just wants to sex it up.

Personally, I would like my Shep to meet Garrus' sister. She seems very interesting!
