I was thinking of the perfect ending for Shepard and Miranda. They always seemed like people who wanted a normal life but fate always got in the way and forced them to become larger than life individuals. I think that when the final battle happens we'd have Harbinger infront of the Normandy and Shepards rigged the ship with a Nuke (Or whatever the most powerful single weapon is) and has ordered everyone to abandon ship. Joker and EDI agree that its the only way and decide to die with him everyone else says good bye to Shep then he looks at a sad Miranda, Shepard practically pushes her through the door leading to the shuttle as he turnes around an explosion destroyes the door Miranda walks out saying she isn't leaving.



They stand behind Joker who sends Normandy heading straight for Harbringer it starts firing everything that it has as the Normandy's sheilds and armor start to fail the ship is seen being slowly torn apart but it keeps going forward. As the ship is about to hit Harbringer Shep and Miri look at eachother all the sound disappears and all they can do is look at the other and smile. The tip fo the Normandy hits the Reaper as Shep and Mirir embrace eachother kissing. We then see the Normandy sink into the Reaper until it stops and the explosive detonates. Shep/Miri are still holding eachother as we see a bright white light envelope them and we see Harbringer being utterly destroyed by the explosion.

Final romance scene should be touching. Epic romances to end all epic romances. But for the love of God, no obvious nudity. ME1 sex scenes were very tasteful, but I think I enjoyed the ME2 romance scenes better (by that I mean Thane's). It was less about wanting to have sex and more about being together.

**Potential spoilers for those who have not played LotSB.**

The only way I see FemShep having babies is with Liara. Why? Because she's an asari. And because Shep has had extensive genetic modification, like Miranda, which might make it very hard for her to get pregnant -- at least on spur of the moment. I mean, c'mon... the woman died. Some parts were fried and had to be pieced back together artificially and other parts may not be fully functional anymore. Even with Kaidan or Jacob, a pregnant Shep might be out of the question.

As for male Shep, well... other than Ashley or Liara, do you really see any other LI getting pregnant? Jack as a mom? Tali has different DNA. Miranda is barren, etc.

Shiara babies FTW, both because she might be the only possible "family option" LI and because she's the only LI where babies were implied.

Yeah they were all the same, minus the differences in dialog, but they felt more intimate.

Don't ask me why, but I have this gut feeling that the LI side-stories will be very, very underplayed in ME3. I could be wrong, but it's this gut feeling I've had since I saw the trailer.

I agree with pretty much everyone in this thread on the point that the final romance dialogue should be long and emotionally involving. There should definitely be denouement regarding what happens after the final battle and how your Shep and his or her LI end up.



However, that's not the first thing that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread. For some reason, EPIC translated to Tali and Shepard going at it, in Engineering, with the Normandy on fire... while possibly shooting at a Collector boarding party.

Im pretty split on whether I would want Shep and his/her LI to die at the end together. Maybe if all else failed, but not as the default ending. I would prefer that they survived, but who knows?

Actually isnt a bad idea. Then maybe if you have to choose between another member, like Garrus or Grunt, and your LI.

no offence thats just my view. i think your reading too much into these relationships, surely they are supposed to be James Bond style 'hero gets the girl' nothing really more than that.

We're not Twilight fans or so... but romances are one of the things that makes ME more than the classic "let's kick some aliens in the nuts!" game. And BW seems to think these two... again, remember LotSB: great action, but also consequences for three of the most popular LIs: Liara (be just friends or return with her), Tali (choose if she's important or not for Shep) and Miranda (it's revealed that she's possibly sterile). You'll have to fighter Reapers anyway, but those are the things that enrich the whole game's experience. Off course, you can always f**k with a different girl each time and consider yourself a spatial James Bond too... but at least most us wanna see something more emotional.

Also... I'd love to see Tali and Shep' having a date, but it would be quite ridiculous a whole Dlc about it. Maybe as ending of one, like the Liara and Shep final chat. I support more the "romance under fire" thing... some special dialogues unlocked along the game normal sequences in case you romanced that character.

Yeah I hope the Reapers pull a Bowser on us at the end I could see it now.

I would prefer to see a ending where your inside the reaper with your loved one and then, you have to make a choice to save them or save a important group, if you choose the group, you see our loved one getting massacred by reaper technology as shepard flys away or some similar heartbreaking scene....just kidding lol but yeah final relationship scene should be romantic and emotional ina good way or bad way depending on your choices.
