Or alternatively, make it IMPOSSIBLE to save everyone. "Many choices lie ahead. None of them easy". So, a space station and a planet are under attack. The space station is strategically important, but the planet is occupied by million's of people. Which do you choose?

I totally agree with you. The suicide missions survivability depened on whether you got loyaly, upgrades and chose your team right. No variables are involved in this. I would rather see it depending on who you gather first and how you deal with their situations the game plays out differen't.daxmeister wrote...
I'd personally love it if they made it near-impossible to save every planet and still survive yourself. And by "Near-impossible" I don't mean "do a load of loyalty missions and then everywhere has magical invulnerability". I mean "If you aren't in exactly the right place at exactly the right time with exactly the right reinforcements and weaponry, a planet dies". For the people who want to save everyone (like me), it would be absolutely insane. Trying to out-think the Reapers and get to the right place at the right time, but don't take too long or Earth get's defeated, etc.
