Really like? No. Hate? No.
I thought it was a decent game that was fun to play. But compared to ME1 and other Bioware RPGs it was a letdown.

According to the consensus from review sites and most of the forums I partake in, Mass Effect 2 is generally a very well received game.
Personally, it's my game of the year (though I'm not at all upset that Red Dead won last night). It didn't do everything right, but everything that it did do right was just jawdropping.

I liked it on its own, but I didn't like it as ME1's sequel.

I found it very fun and engaging. I just feel the few parts dealing with the main plot subtracted from the overall experience.

I found some fun things on my first play of ME2. But found a lot of things disappointed and annoyed me. So the more I played it the less I liked it. So I don't play it and no I don't like it.

I loved it - possibly my favourite game of all time... All of Bioware's games ever since KotOR rank in my top 20 though so...
Have you thought about starting up a poll?

10X better than ME1 and it DESERVED GOTY. Red Dead was good but ME2 deserved it. Red Dead's multiplayer was riddled with modders and thats why I think it should have lost. Dont get me started on soundtrack of the year either. Halo Reach deserved sound track of the year by far.Sheepie Crusher wrote...

I just recently starting playing it AGAIN and havent been able to put it down for 3 weeks. You know you play too much ME2 when you literally havent stepped 5 feet outside your house for the whole weekend because your too busy taking it to the Collectors.

Don't have to agree with me but it was something I liked about ME2. It means a new Squad+VS/(And/Or)Liara for ME3. After dealing with all their daddy issues I'm glad to be rid of them all.
