I like ME2 overall... the gameplay is pretty smooth, but the story is only so so and, at least for me, it feels like it doesn't continue ME1's story enough.
Also, some things feel pretty cheesy. The constant Harbinger taunts and a number of cutscenes f.e. are just distractingly annoying.
I also miss squadmate armor, weapon stats and the fact that some members can't wear armor and/or helmets.
You mean like that Asari chick's "I AM OMEGA!" ?
I would never puch a girl, even as Shepard, but everytime she says that I just want to punch her face!
Although I did accidently punch the reporter chick because I didn't realize what the renegade interupt option was gonna do...

Story was bad. It could have been done without the reapers being involved at all. So many plotholes. Gameplay was sub par. Reused combat areas so things got repetitive when I was going down long corridor with boxes no.127. Mining was an abortion of an idea. Didn't do grimdark too well, you mainly only heard stuff second hand. I can hear dark stuff second in real life and it's real. Wrex got comeoed. Garrus had two ****ing conversations. If I didn't want to have sex with someone they wouldn't talk to me. Stopping the collectors didn't even feel like the main plot. Honestly it should have been called Shepard: Personal Councilor. Gutted the RPG features to the bare minimum. Threw out companion inventory. All problems can still be solved if you have the appropriate Paragon/Renegade score.
That said I somehow still enjoyed the **** out of it. Which craft I tells ya.

Short answer: YES!
Long answer: Despite its eye-grating problems ME2 (compared to ME1) is fantastic game, period. A game of the year to me, and a game I have been playing through the damn year! And I still play it.

It has its flaws. But I still like it a lot. I actually cannot remember having ever felt so immersed into a game as I felt with ME (1&2).
