I need to create a Grenade Like object to emulate a Vial of Poison to create poisonous AOE.
I duplicated in spells.2da the row number 464 (Grenade_Fire) and changed the Impact Script Name.
After spells.2da I add a row into iprp_spells.2da to link the new property to the spell, and add the property into the toolset to an Item by coping the Alchemic Fire Item.
I made some scripts to test the thing and tried the module.
The Cast Spell property on the Poison Granade doesn't work at all, as if there is no spell available into spells.2da, but if I try to use the spell by normal casting (with cleric or wizard) it works and the PG throws the flask as normal (and I poisoned my PG using his feet as target).
Did I miss some .2da or something else?

It might be easier to simply edit the default acid fog spell to have poison when used from this new grenade. No 2das would have to be edited.

The script I posted in this thread might be helpful. Not exactly what you are attempting but similar. If there is a way to do what you are attempting without having to modify 2da files, then I would be interested in knowing how. I have a number of potions I've wanted to make, some of which would be grenades.

The main problem is to create a new Cast Spell Itemproperty.
Two years ago I created some new spells for an Italian PW and the scrolls to be cast/memorized by wizards.
I don't remember if the .2da to modify were only spells.2da and iprp_spells.2da or there are others .2da to modify.
The grenade like effect is only an application.

I solved the problem, just a bas string referene to a .tlk row. Now the poison System for my PW is correctly working and in beta-test by PCs to be debugged.
