Once you install the game, your computer will punch you in the face and steal your wallet.
I sent that bug, but got it back marked "Works as Designed".

Do you actually have this saved in your PC? Doesn't it corrupt all your files, or slowly drive you to gibbering insanity?

let me be clear that I am not simply trying to create a bashing thread nor am I being sarcastic - Awakening was possibly the most broken game I have played and waiting 5 months for a patch was terrible...Witch Hunt was also broken in the most meaningful part and had no save game for over a month...I want to preorder but I do not want to have a 60.00 paperweight for half a year until a patch makes it playable...I guess my question is will Bioware put more effort/resources into quality control before release...actually i should not say Bioware but rather the Dragon Age team, because ME2/DLC was relatively bug free or at the very least not broken...
Please forgive my fellow forumites, they're usually a bit more mature.
We have no idea how rushed Awakenings was or rushed Dragon Age II will be. DA 2 will likely be better polished and have fewer bugs as expansions depend on the buyer of the original game still being engaged with the product and thus have a natural due date.
Is that enough to base a pre-order on? It's up to you.

Nice to see that the bad quality and state of the recent games/dlc upon release does not get a serious answer...wait that actually does answer my question..thanks...

You apologize for our immaturity and then you tell him lies to face. I am not sure what to make of that.

Well you don't seriously expect a serious answer to a question like 'Is Dragon Age II going to work when it is released?
I mean ... seriously ...

Well this is the DA2 Forum though, not DA:O or DA:A. And do you expect any of the Devs come here and tell you no it will be broken and bugridden? Of course it will work, maybe not without any bugs, but tell me one game without bugs.

It will try to steal a purse or money roll. Failing that, it'll settle for the bits of loose change under the couch cushions.

So I should assume that despite every DA product released in 2010 being broken and having terrible support that DA II (despite a short development cycle) will be a okay because hey its DA2

Or are we just supposed to be lemmings who expect different results despite absolutley no evidence to the contrary...what I do find funny is that somehow I am in the wrong for objecting to pre-ordering a game and have it broken for half a year while Bioware does nothing about it...its not like I made Awakening a broken game or Witch hunt for that matter...
Wrong no, smart, yes. Don't pre-order it - wait and see if DA2 meets expectations. As the saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice, shame on me."
