Why not a completely new Cerberus gunship?
Tali and Garrus were with me when I defeated Saren and they were with me when I defeated the human reaper. I want them dare when I kick the Reapers' asses damnit!
Well I was more thinking with regard the former idea of us just possibly using one on a mission (akin to getting in the cab during LotSB) but yeah if replacing the Hammer-head then, I suppose an improved 'Gunship' with full squad carrying complement and weaponry akin to the M61 that would work. Have it so if can choose between staying with cerberus and not staying you either get a cerberus modded one or some more standard alliance prototype.
On the above point I mentioned, another wish is the ability coose to either stay with Cerberus if we want or the option to tell TIM to shove it, preferably after putting a bullet in his head. Jack Shepard believes in the Cerberus Totalitarian Unit that he is forming on the Normandy. The Normandy SR2 that Jack Shepard commands is now purged of alien life and a rogue project.
With regards the aforementioned, I would like VS to stick to their guns, if Shep decides to stay with Cerberus that Shep shouldn't have a chance of getting VS to join up unless Shep can do some serious Talk-Jutsu (really high renegade/paragon requirement) to get them to believe Cerberus is working for the greater good of humanity. If fails, Shep loses contact with them.
If Shep didn't recruit squadmates in ME2, then certain ones should only be mentioned in news reports whilst others should be dead as they would surely have been without Shep intervention.
I believe Shep in ME3 is likely to have a couple of new squadmates join at the start as 'permanent' squadmates, but I would like it that anyone after that should be optional but a minimum required by a certain point in the story (ME needed 4 by Virmire, ME2 needed 8 by Collector Ship), Shepard only picking people Shep trusts most to help their cause.
Following on from the above, if we are going to 'rally the other species' we shouldn't need to rally everyone or more to the point we should have the option to choose if we want to rally species or not. I can't see how some Sheps would ever consider looking for help from Batarians, just as much as some sheps wouldn't consider looking for help from some other species due to their opinion of them. Naturally the lesser the number, the more likelihood of Shep and squad getting killed, but that is their choice they'll have to deal with. As an example to the above 2 wishes, I've got a playthrough lined up where Shep is Anti-Cerberus, Anti-Asari (to the point of not going to Ilium) and Anti-Geth. So Miranda, Jacob, Zaeed and Kasumi aren't loyal, Samara and Thane aren't recruited and Legion isn't sent to Cerberus but isn't activated either. I like that we can make such choices, I would like to see that expanded in ME3.
